since there are so many of us participating in this challenge, i thought itd be fun to get to know one another b/f it starts by posting a little bit about ourselves like what are goals are for the challenge and what plan we plan to use.
I'm 47 living in Rhode Island and I just cut out processed foods, soda, and eat low-carb. I have a lot to lose but, am determined to do it and set an example for my grown daughters. I just want to lose steady 2-3 pounds a week would be great! but, more important I never want to lose a pound that I already lost! Good Luck Ladies!
Real name Roni- Aries- 39 yrs old. I've been Fat for 13 years and started WW in June '06. I've lost 10 so far and want to have lost 20 more by Thanksgiving, no later than Christmas. This will make me over-weight and NO longer "obese". That's my Christmas present to myself. I live in East TN but I am from Savannah, GA. My fiance is one of them there Yankee's hehe!!!! I have 2 son's and lots of pets, who are my kids too! LOL!
hello every one. I'm 56 have had thyroid problems for over 30 years and am still slowly but surley gaining unwanted pounds. I live Arkansas. I've started e.Diets.com for there fitness and diet program. It's hard for me to make out my own menus. I want to lose enough inches to fit into a size 10.

Hi my name is Kerry. I am 33 years old and live in Southeast Ohio. I have three stepchildren, twin boys (8) and a girl (10) who is also overweight. I am a Special Needs teacher at a county school near my house. I am currently my TOPS co-leader. I would like to jumpstart my weight loss and excerise journey again. So that is one of the reason I am doing the challenge. I would love to be under 200 pounds by Christmas. I was there last summer and let live's stresses get in the way and gained the weight back. I would also love to start excerising on a regular basis again. I am just cutting out bad foods, soda, alcohol, and sweets. I just eat smaller potions of foods and try to eat healthier food choices. So that is a little bit about me.

Hello my name is Kristy. I am really excited about the biggest loser. I am 25 years old. I currently weigh 203 lbs. and want to get down to about 165 eventually. For the challenge I want to lose 2-3 lbs a week. I am going to do cardio 5-6 times a week and weight lift 3 times a week. I do not use a specific diet plan I just try to control my portions.
My name is Suzanne and I am from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. I turned 30 in June and vowed to make it my last year being overweight. My goals for this challenge is to make exercise a priority and to consistently lose an average of 2 lbs. per week.

hi, i am on the weight watchers flex plan ( i count points )... i am 26 years old, i have 3 kids and a wonderfull husband! i have lost 30 pounds on weight watchers already, and hope to lose another 60lbs, i would like to lose 30 by new years and another 30 by my birthday in may! then i would be done with the weight loss part and be able to get started on the maintenance part! so i am not sure how long this challenge lasts so i don't know the exact amount i would like to lose for the challenge, but mainly i would love to lose as much as possible!
Hi. I am new to writing on forums although I love reading them! I was so intrigued by this idea that I finally registered. I lost 15 pounds in the first 6 months of this year but have stalled since then. My current weight is 160. I would love to lose 10 pounds before the holidays. Hi girls!!! I am soon to be 46 yo and the mother of 2 boys. I've recently lost 35 lbs in the last year and would like to lose another 30 lbs. My husband is very supportive of me and has loved me through thick and thin!!! After almost 18 years of marriage, he's seen it all !!! Anyway, my main goal along with the weight loss is to be healthier and live a healthy lifestyle. I don't want to be thinking about my weight for the next 40 years!!! My name is Kathy and I am 53 years old. I started WW in 2001 weighing over 300. I have had ups and downs since but mostly lose a little and then maintain, rarely going up. I am okay with slow weight loss, but I am ready to up my losses with more exercise, the Biggest Loser way!
I currently weight 249 and I am following the WW Core program and attend WW meetings.
