Yay Easily! Look at you go! Brilliant!

I was reading a review for spray magnesium this morning because I started using it liberally this week and my weight also went up. I kept saying sodium sodium sodium but it didn't make sense given my food intake. I've been spraying liberally before bed to help with leg cramps, improve sleep and help keep me regular. It does all three. The reviewer says she only does it every other night because the salt builds up. WHAT? Of course! Why didn't I think of that. It leaves a residue of salt on the skin after its one absorbing. DUH!

So maybe since I'm so focused and keeping carbs and calories down, I'm actually losing but retaining fluids and not registering going down a bit in weight.

Only five hours sleep. Never great for the scale. Tonight is a late concert. Still up at 5:30 for work tomorrow.

WOW Salt build up from a spray of Magnesium on your legs!?? I can see that and yes your legs are probably holding water! How about that.. Good thing you read that and Yep CALEE... lack of sleep does do it to the scale ! HAVE FUN at the Concert (Who are you seeing?)

SUE, the scale is giving you an early birthday gift, but one that you have worked very very hard to achieve. That's 9 pounds in two weeks. Do you think it's been the focus challenge that helped you so much? I have found it very beneficial.

Yes, salt spray to legs and entire abdominal area. I won't spry a few dys nd see if it makes a Difference.

Have the happiest day ever as you welcome in your birthday. Any special plans today?

Steps were above 8,000 (my daily target) on only one day this week, and NEVER above 10,000. This will be a hard goal for me this challenge, as it's a little at odds with my big personal project of finishing my book (which requires hours of my butt in the chair!) Will keep working on it...

I was glad to have the INDUCTION challenge last week, even if I didn't follow induction, it did have me counting again and that is always helpful. On a few days there were times I was thinking I wanted to eat something and I'd take a peek and where my food already was for the day and either make a different choice or decide to just have tea and not eat. When I don't track I rarely turn away once I've already started opening cabinet doors...

No dairy, no problem. It's been 2 months without dairy (except butter) and I'm kinda out of the dairy habit now. I still catch myself just before licking the serving spoon after I scoop out greek yogurt for my kids, though! I do think it's easier for me to be dairy-free than to have a moderate amount. Not even opening the cheese box is easier than stopping myself.

Well my scale did not wish me Happy Birthday.. But my wonderful friends here did! Thank you for your blessings! Now talk to my scale!

Calee... Thank you and I wish I had lost 9 lbs.. 5 of those lbs were water weight gain from Easter weekend bad eating... LOL.. But a loss is a loss and I thank you! No plans today as the restaurant I want to go to (Chicago style Thin crust Pizza) is closed Mondays and Tuesdays.. so out with my parents on Wednesday. Today.. (My friend blew me off scheduled meetings for nights and won't be available to celebrate with me until maybe next week...yay well he sucks as a friend!) I am walking with my new walking partner and he agreed to go out for a drink afterwards... so a Margharita is on the menu tonight!!!!! (after our walk! so burning the calories pre drink LOL) Work will have a sugar free choc cake (I hope) Or fruit and that is it! I have a few cards to open from my friends who live out of state... Good way to start the day.

I didn't go to sleep until after 1. Concert was great!! Turned alarm from 5:20 to 6:30. Will be a bit late to work. No prob I just work a little later.

Easily amused - Sadly, finals are not over for me for awhile. Finals week officially starts tomorrow, the two I already had were because the professors decided to have the final the last day of class rather than wait. I have one for my research design and analysis on friday and one for cognitive psychology a week from today. I took thurs-sun off from studying but starting today I am back at the books.

sue - I am having a margarita tonight too! a couple friends and I decided that cinco de mayo warranted margaritas and mexican food as a study break. The place we are going doesn't have sugarfree "skinny" margaritas, the small is 23 carbs so I am trying to plan my day accordingly.

Started Atkins on 4/30/14. Lost 30 or so lbs on Atkins when I was 16. Haven't done it since then. Gained a massive amount and I'm Ready to change my life since working through a bunch of emotional issues.
SW: 313

Additional Goals:
*Track & Weigh Daily
*Be able to walk 7 miles a day- at least 4 days a week (To my Grandmother's house for tea. Maybe I'll even save a little gas money using all this Fat Power to get around. You never know!)
* I've got to get over the fear of everyone looking at me out walking. ( I live in a small town where everyone knows everyone else and I feel Judged and ashamed for letting myself get this big. I've worked and socialized outside of this small community for those reasons and I have to stop letting my weight hold me back!)
*Drink 64 oz+ water a day
I'll check in daily to report weight, exercise, and water consumed.

Something has to change and that something is ME.
I'm Really Excited to be here! I think This is the kind of support I have Needed. You All are Amazing and Inspire Me!

The margarita was delicious sue! As was the steak fajita salad I got with it I only ate a few of my friends chips so the was a win!

This weekend was lots of bending/breaking the rules and the scale is showing it. Back at it starting today. My carbs were a bit high but they were all veggies not sugar/flour based at least.
