Active weekend coming up here--my crazy dog training hobby. I'll be at a friend's out in the sticks. I decided at the last minute this morning to throw some healthy stuff in a grocery bag--I'm having planning problems lately.

Br:
Larabar bar thing (this one wasn't so bad--the apple pie flavor)

sn:
apple

lunch:
a coffee on the road
wasa multigrain crackers
peanut butter
the last :( of the Amish elderberry jelly
apple

sn:
grapes
cheddar cheese

I also have a Kashi chewy bar

dinner--I'm leaving it open, we'll probably eat something in common. I'm voting omelette and a salad, but we'll see what's available.

10/22

br:
shredded wheat and bran
honey or sugar
milk

tangerine
Kashi bar

wasa multigrain crackers
cheddar cheese
grapes

banana
milk

dinner--might be home for dinner, might have dinner there. Leaving it open.

Today so far has been one of those do the best you can days:
B1-banana, coffee w/ skim
B2-generalized nastiness at Burger King (any port in a storm with a SCREAMING toddler in the car!), orange juice
S-apple
L-leftover chicken, bell pepper, onion, cashew stir fry w/ basmati
S-Kashi bar??
D-no clue, we have been invited to friend's house for a pumpking carving party, so I'm guessing it could be ugly. I'm bringing pumpkin seeds, and do the best I can.

I'll check in tomorrow with tomorrow's mess.

D-supposed to go to a bonfire party tonight, I'll try to do the best I can. Who knows.

Well, last night's party was not whole, so moving on to today.
B-2 eggs, gr pepper, onion, avocado and salsa
L-veggie sub
S-walnuts, almonds, dried mixed berries
D-veggie lasagna, salad, orange
S-dark chocolate tea

I did avoid the chocolate cake and ice cream for dd's birthday party earlier today, so that seems like a victory.

Today was not a great whole foods day either. I raced this morning, so lots of race food, lunch was OK, but I was hungry after the race so there was lots of snacking, and then we had dinner out, where I did a spectacular job of eating on plan since DD pitched a hissy fit and DH and I took turns walking her around outside the restaurant.

On the plus side, I made some lower sugar whole wheat and oatmeal banana and berry bread for DD so she won't be eating a lot of cr@p this week. And I made myself a big pot of lentil soup that I got 10 servings from. Very whole foods, very super foods and I'll be eating on that for a while. I also have planned every dinner for the rest of the week, and got the veggies for almost everything chopped today. And I got spinach again today (!), so I'll finally get to eat a decent salad this week.
