I'm so glad! It's been a long, hot, fat summer. I know I could eat salads in the summer, but I prefer my comfort food warm. Now I can have soup and stew and white bean chili and oatmeal. I always lose weight during this time of year. Now I just have to keep working on my plan to keep it off come May.
Yep, yummy fall foods here i come, I just need to learn healthier ways to cook all the old favs. Also, no more excuses not to get outside and exercise!
I so agree with you. I lose weight faster and more easily during the cooler months than the warmer months. Walking outside this morning, it was brisk, I took a deep breath and was jumping for joy because I know falls approaching.
Oh yummy, the stews, soups and all the good things that make me feel warm and cozy.
I love the winter too. I much prefer my comfort foods of warm chili and stew. Plus the recipes can be adapted to fit my woe. My only downside is the fresh fruits that I love are more expensive in the winter, but I tend to buy them anyway.
