In 10 days I have my surgery. Last Wednesday and This Past Monday I did all my preop testing. Bloodwork (twice for my anemia) ekg echocardiogram chest Xray Pulmonary Testing ( i was in a thing that looked like one of those booths they fly money around on gameshows) And everyone's favorite Endoscopy!
It was cool tho in the echo I got to watch my heart beating! and in the Endo I got to look over the doc's shoulder at my stomach. (which kinda looks like an intergalactic cave if you ask me) so I'm all good!

I remember the butterflies, the jitters, the anxiety and the excitement all rolled up in one. The one feeling I remember the most was a sense of peace.

KO--Just wanted to chime in with my good luck wishes. I'm 6 months out now and remember the days before the surgery going from really excited to happy to nervous to etc. etc. What is the date of your surgery? & will someone be able to give us an update?

My Surgery Date is Sept 8th
I'll see if my husband will but he's techy not wordy or maybe my sister
or I'll just demand a laptop as soon as I wake up realistic? not so much I'm so susceptible to anesthesia I'll be blathering.
Heck or highwater (a possibility considering the rain in lovely jersey) you guys will get the update
its bedtime!
