hi there,

I'm not bipolar but i have anxiety and my doctor put me on Lamictal,
with my effexor. But i've started getting headaches and nausea, since i went from 25 mg to 50 mg, so now i'm back to 25 mg.

Can you guys tell me about your experiences with Lamictal?

I am on lamictal, but never experienced those side effects. However, I got really hot, itchy and headaches with effexor. So...I guess everybody reacts differently to the meds. Lamictal has helped me tremendously in helping elleviate my depression. Hope it works for you. Sorry I can not be much more help.

That med might not be for you, I hear that can also CAUSE anxiety. Call your doctor and discuss your side effects.

I took Lamictal for BP1 - it wasn't for me. I got a rash so they took me off of it really, really fast. I also remember being shaky and wrapped tighter than a spool of thread while I was taking it.
