Argh, work sabotages me!
I swear, work has the worst timing!
So I got a new gym membership this morning. I thought I could use it to kickstart my exercise routine. I'm all excited about water aerobics tomorrow.
Then I find out that work is requiring that I, in addition to the normal work I'm supposed to do over the two weeks, work 14 hour days (including over the weekend!) on some military exercise field support. Argh!
So basically, exercise will not be possible. I hate this stuff, it's always last minute, and it makes me so grumpy and stressed. I suppose in the grand scheme of things 2 weeks lost isn't much, it just seems stupid to start a gym membership and immediately not be able to go.
You'd think I'd be used to things with my work schedule, but they still catch me by surprise all the time and throw me off balance all the time.
