Default Weight Loss March 19 - 25

Well I looked and looked but did not see the regular thread for weight loss this week. So I'll start this one and hope I'm not duplicating.

Anyhow I am back to my signature weight of 243. I lost 2 lbs this week. I hope within the next couple of weeks to see 23?. I have lost and gained the same 10 lbs twice now since December. I don't want to do that a third time.

Great job Howie! Most people have joined the 2006 in 2006 Challenge and just update their weights on that thread. Mostly people just post their current weights on that thread, so I like this one where you can see how much people have lost

I was down 3 this week for an even 80 pound loss to date.

Good job Dee. I like this one also. I like hearing the ups and downs of everyone. You know how you did for the week or if you had a rough week. So I think the two threads can coexist.

I wanna wait until my official weigh in day, which is tomorrow. So far it's not looking too good though

Thanks Howie, I thought I was losing my mind this morning. I am only down 0.4, so I won't move my ticker.

Awesome on the 80 lb loss Dee! We will soon be seeing you on the 100 lb loser club!

Good job, everyone. I think its especially motivating for the newbies to see the "big losers" keep on losing. I know when I started, it all seemed so overwhelming and unattainable to lose over 100lbs. At the beginning of the journey, even though I was happy to be losing consistently, it was still so difficult to think about keeping up that rate of loss long-term, let alone reaching anywhere near goal.

As for me, I read but don't participate in the weigh-in threads because I don't know how much I weigh! I was a virtual slave to the scale and pretty much let it rule my life for a couple of years, so I threw it out. I was sick of letting those numbers dictate how I felt about myself and my progress. Now I gauge how I'm doing on my clothes. Right now they're definitely feeling tight, so I'm doing my best to stay totally on plan. I don't have a set weight that I'm shooting for anymore, but I definitely have a clothes size I'm shooting for

I guess I never thought of making the weekend challenge a permanent feature but if there is an interest we could continue.

Great loses everyone. I look forward to this thread every week.
