Bacon and sausage are definitely loaded with sodium. I don't know how long it takes to flush it out, but keep drinking extra water and avoid your scale for a while.

I was up by as much as 7 pounds during last week, due to water weight caused (I figured) by too much salt. It took a few days to gradually disappear, and was all gone within about 5 days. YMMV.

I'm with Sheila. If the number on the scale bothers you, stay off it for a bit.

White flour in the pancakes caused it the salt probably helped. Picture white flour and yourself dripping water on it. How much water could you add before it became super saturated?

I have water gains sometimes because I like Kimchi so much and if it is not homemade it has a lot of salt. Anyway I was up one pound since eating it Tuesday but I got on the scale this morning (Thursday) and it is gone. I was angry but it made me see that I need to stick with it.

Being super salt sensitive, I know exactly where you are coming from. I had to go to a no-processed food plan in order to lose any weight at all. Everything has to be fresh or super-low sodium for me to eat it. Combined with drinking more water, the weight seems to be practiacally melting off. And my hands no longer feel puffy all the time.

Don't worry, the weight isn't permanent. Avoid the scale, increase the water and you will be just fine. Good luck!

You can give nature a little help by drinking Green Tea. Studies have show that it helps eliminate water....
