Default FlatOut?

I bought this stuff at Walmart this evening called FlatOut...I'm sure you ladies have seen it. It has 6 grams of net carbs per slice, and is made with whole grain. Making sure this is okay in moderation???

Default flat out - yes!

Hi! I just joined this forum tonite in order to respond to your flat out bread question. I was just a bystander before .
The flat out comes in carb out too. Just be aware....the carb out tastes kinda like cardboard.
I found a cool way to make my own "chips" using the flat bread. I've done it several times - in several ways. Trust me - they are great and I can share the recipe if you want. Sure beats reaching for the real thing!

Are we talking Phase I here? If so, it is not allowed. For phase II, it could be OK but please post the ingredients.
By the way, on South Beach, we don't worry about carbs except to be sure we eat GOOD carbs.

You have to remember that SBD isn't really about net carbs. It's about good carbs, like Ruth said. What are the ingredients of this product? How much fiber per slice? These are the things to check.

Never mind, I found the web site: http://www.flatoutbread.com/movie.html
It depends on which one you get. The Harvest wheat ones are bad. The first ingedient is enriched flour. The multi grain one looks pretty good, the first ingredients are whole grains. It has 14 grams of fiber. The one thing I'm not sure of is that it has 2 g of sugar alcohols. Some people can't handle sugar alcohols.

I just got out the package, and it says "Light FlatOut...Made with 100% Stone Ground Whole Wheat", and the ingredients are as follows:
Water, Vital wheat glutan, oat fiber, whole wheat flour, soybean oil...those are the main ingredients.
There's also 6 net carbs as I said, and 9 grams of fiber....

So are these alright? I'm terrible with thinking I'm constantly cheating! LOL
