First off, STOP CRYING! I know they've probably been told to, but GOD is it annoying.

Secondly, I don't think the mums who are doing it for their kids will keep it off. It has to be for them.

Thirdly, can't STAND Cat. It all seemed so rehersed.

I adored Fiona. She reminds me so much of me (even though I can't imange letting a guy string me along for that long. I hoped she kicked his arse after that)

Guys didn't really make an impression on me.

Ajay Rochester bugs the **** out of me. Hon? Blonde hair so dosen't suit you. Plus, she is the walking advertisment for weight training while losing weight.

I really felt for all of the contestants. if it were me up there i bet i would have been crying too. the moment when harry talked about his son wanting him to park around the corner of his school to drop him off, so his friends wouldn't see him brought me to tears.

it must be a huge reality shock for all of them. it is one thing to know that you are overweight, but to be put in a position where it is flaunted in front of you and the nation, must be overwhelming.

oh forgot to add that jillian and bob looked hot! :D

Actully that story about the kid, pissed me off. What kind of kid DOES that to their dad? I grew up with a big dad, and I would have died a thousand deaths before I did that to him. Sure, my dad embarrasses the **** out of me at times, but that? Is COLD.

I feel for them too, I really do, I just don't think the shows producers need to show them crying all the time. I bet there were times when they shared things about themselve that were full of emotion, with no tears, that they could have shown. But instead they inundate us with the tears. I'm having a go at the producers, not the contestants.

About the kid. Kids are mean, they do that to parents whether the parents are fat or not. Ya just gotta hope that they grow out of it. Either that or just try to embarass them more.

Awww, Fiona! *hugs* She's so me! The asthma attack when exercising, the "OMG! HE DOSEN'T REALLY WANT ME!" look when she was the last one picked. I really think they should have discussed out of those two who they wanted, so they could have made it more, 'you're the last one picked!'

Its not Gretel, it is AJ Rochester, and honestly that outfit last night did not suit her, she looks like she should be joining in, and lifting some weights for those arms. I know I'm mean.

I found out tonite, that a friend of my sisters is the Medic for the show and is living in the mansion. Lucky bugger, but he has had to sneak any junk food into the mansion, or its gone. My sister said that Fiona is the favourite, everybody loves girl and Artie the kitchen assistant, is gay. But I picked that up straight away. Unfortunately she couldn't give me any more gossip. Evidently both Bob and Jillian are pushing them hard, but Jillian is respected and loved more.

I know its AJ Rochester, that was my point. She looks, acts, and sounds like Gretel.

Fiona is the only one I can stand at this point. Muscly dude is a douchebag, "Its what you can expect from a woman"

Cannot STAND her. I've read both her books, and she is a sanctimonious cow. She had a lot of issues, going from aneroxic to obese within a decade. So for her, everyone who is fat, stuffs themselves with **** food ALL the time. Medical issues? Don't exisit. Part of the reason I'm overweight is because I have PCOS (and I think Fiona might have it too, we have very simillar body shapes), the other part because I didn't exercise and ate ****. But I didn't overeat at meals. (when she went to Maccas, she'd eat three Big Macs, PLUS other things. I do NOT do that. My defenition of overeating is a large meal)

Plus, she's SOOOOO wooden.

Big Wal is annoying me already too. And why can't they just show the challenge without having anyone tell us what they were doing through out it? You knew by the way they were talking after the second round who was going to win. Let the tension mount people! lol. I'm think i might start taping it so i can FF the bits that annoy. :lol:

I agree with you Renny Sue, who can sit down and eat 3 big macs in one sitting? Who can really eat that much food. I see these statistics in magazines of what people "ate" in their before diet meals and I'm eating a third of what they supposeably ate and I'm 85 kgs. I have big servings that I need to cut down on but not THAT big. I read both of her books, and had a look at her site, but I'm sure not going to sign up to it. She reckons it costs you the same price as a pizza, not likely, when we buy pizza it costs us $4.50. Her site is a lot more than that. I enjoyed her first book, but notthe second one.

I hope tonites biggest loser is better than it has been.

So far of all contestants red and blue the only one i dislike is jo. I don't know why but the annoys the F*** out of me. I really didn't want jillian to pick her. She's red team now so... she'll have my support i suppose! Darn it!

Hey, I'm 110kg (what she was when she started) and I certainly don't eat that. I'd be sick.

I still enjoy it. I watched it at the gym today, and when I looked around, eight out of ten TVs were on that.

Hope we get it in the UK. We've had Australia's Top Model (as well as US and UK) on the channel that runs The Biggest Loser UK and US - so I'm betting we'll get the Aussie next. Hope so - I need my fix of Bob!

For the UK one, we didn't get Bob and Jillian - got our own homegrown versions. The lady one was well vicious - really tough as old boots, and screamed constantly at her team. The bloke one was like Bob - all holistic and New Age - so you had this hilarious contrast between Boot Camp style and lovey-dovey New Age guru style training.

Interestingly, the presenter was also a bit podgy, not the usual stick insect.

I thought with last nights show that the blue team was rather mean to the red team and really childish. I mean come on, crowing about some of the red team members having to eat stuff. I couldn't believe it.

I too would like to see more of the workouts. I really dont know how Jillian got her team to jog, I dont think I could do it, but if I have a chance I'm going to give it a go.

Well I'm loving that it's on every night. The first night was slow but once Bob and Jillian got there I've loved it. I enjoy it most when they're kicking their teams butts. :) I liked the bridge thing tonight too.

AJ has seemed quite uncomfortable, better tonight though. Hopefully she's just settling in.

Turns out his mum died (on tonight's eppisode) Poor Bob. They said three days, but that dosen't sound right, I'm going to assume it means three TV days, and he'll be there on Monday.

I don't know what's going on with this season but im not feeling the same inspiration that i was feeling from the last yank version. There's too much bullshit in the house and not enough working out going on! I don't know about you but im sick of their crap.
They're all there with a common goal, so you'd think that there would be more comradery...but no. Who picked these people?!?

That is awesome. I found a whole new level of respect for her when she started posting here. She may be a bit of a drama queen, but she really cares about what she's doing and the people she's inspired.

How hard is it keeping up with watching an episode a night? And how many months/weeks are they going to keep this up? I'm catching the occasional downloaded episode and then I'm reading the recaps daily on the aussie Biggest Loser site. I can't imagine keeping up with it five nights a week.

One of the main things that I'm finding really hard to watch is that the show is sooooo repetative. Before every advertisement break they show whats going to happen next, and then after the break they show what happened before. If they took out of all the repetative stuff, there would be twice as much show in the half hour. But I'm still enjoying it, mind you I haven't seen it since wednesdays episode, its all taped.

It is very repetivie, isn't it! I'm just wishing that they'd just show the temptations and the challenges without showing all of the contestants talking. Could easily show more of the workouts if they did that. Also, showing whats going to happen on Monday's show on Friday night, tells you who's going to be eliminated. It's obviously Tracy or Cat this week. As much as i don't like Cat, Tracy was pretty disrespectful at the weigh-in on Friday so I'm happy either way. lol

Yeah I have noticed that if you watch carefully you can tell who will be gone on the friday, its pretty bad production. Apparently the some TV guides that have been out for a week already said that blue team would be up for elimination this Monday which takes some of the drama out of it if you read that :(

I saw Adro at a local shopping centre last night. He seems really nice and didn't mind people asking if he was who he was. lol. I recognised his voice (he was nect to me at the sandwich shop) and after he ordered I said "I'm sorry to be rude but are you..." He just nodded, laughed and said yeah. I really wanted to ask if Tracey was as big a ***** in person as she was portrayed. :lol: He's looking good too. He said the house is all packed up and the show will end at the end of April. I'm going to miss it all tho as i'm going to the US. I just have to bookmark the BL website i guess. :D

As far as I know, Aussie filming is over and I think they've been back for a couple of weeks now.

They'll probably start filming BL3 within the next month or so, with the actual airing date probably starting in September.

Now, the Biggest Loser special edition began showing in January, so maybe that's what you saw listings for.
