Default Milk

I know that we are supposed to have 3 servings of milk each day, but does that count as 1 point or 2 points?
1 milk = 2pts?

Thanks

Hello

Your 3 servings can be:

1 cup low-fat or light milk (skim or 1%) = 2 points
1 cup light yogurt (artificially sweetened) = 2 points
1 slice (3/4 oz) low-fat cheese =1 point

Check your Food companion for more point options and brands as they vary or better yet check the labels on the food with your pointsfinder. I never grocery shop without mine

Some of the yogurt brands end up being 1 point if they are fat free and sweetened with Nutrasweet.

I have 1/2 cup milk with my cereal
2 triangles of Laughing Cow brand cheese with celery or Ryvita as a snack or
and 1 serving of Source brand yogurt as my morning snack
or 1 oz of shredded cheese tossed on top of a salad

Hope this helps
