Does anyone know the points for the asiago cheese bread at Subway? We're trying to figure out how many extra points that particular bread adds to a sandwich. It's yummy, but I wonder how "off the charts" it really is point-wise. Thanks for the help!
According to the Subway website (www.subway.com), the Asiago cheese bread is 4.5 points for 6" (220 calories, 4 grams fat, 2 grams fiber). Regular white (Italian) or wheat bread is 3.5 points. So, not too bad!
My local Subways no longer carry the cheese bread. They say it was a test and is not available any more.
Please say it's not true!!! I LOVE that bread! I have gotten it all the time since it came out! I will be very disappointed if they discontinue it. Hopefully they will see it as popular enough to continue with it. I will keep my fingers crossed. .....Sis
They tried to take the Asiago bread away from us also, telling us it was only a special for the month. Everyone complained so much and so often that they brought it back!!! Yummy! Thanks for the info. Sounds like it only adds one point to the sandwich over what the regular bread brought in.
