Question GI Diet

Is anybody incorporating this diet into their WW plan?

If so what are you doing? I have been reading a bit about it and it sounds interesting and seems to have some merit.

Thanks for any input you can give me

Cindy

It is the Glycemic Index diet. Based on eating foods that are lower in starchs, sugars etc. I guess it works on the principal that lower glycemic foods don't cause the peaks and valleys like sugars do etc.

I have been reading some information on it and it seems like it could be relatively close to core.
Was designed by a Dr. that used to be the head of the Heart and Stroke Foundation in Canada.
I am going to do some more research on it as it seems quite interesting and quite well received by the medical community as being a "good" program.
I am trying to re-evaluate what I have been eating and see if my choices are what is causing my plateau for the past few months.

I don't follow it 100% but I do try to eat a lot of the lower glycemic foods including whole grains, etc.
