You understood it correctly. Thank you for your answer. The thing is that I saw a lot of people saying that they eat two or three boiled eggs on every breakfast and that maed me very curious ... you know ...
So .. not everybody eats a lot of eggs in the morning ... right
The American Heart Association no longer limits eggs unless you have high chloresterol and they say if you are a healthy person you can eat eggs , even 2, every day.
I've recently been having an egg once or twice a week. Yesterday I made a pseudo veggie-scramble that was really easy: I took a cup of frozen mixed veggies (corn, diced peppers, and broccoli bits) and microwaved it in a deep-dish plate until warm. Then I mixed in one raw egg, pushed it all over to the side of the plate, and put an ounce of shredded cheddar cheese on top. Sprinkled it with pepper, then microwaved it for two minutes. Quick and easy! (And about 250-300 calories, depending on the veggie mix and the size of your egg.)
But you don't have to eat eggs at all to be successful in losing weight. They are just a nice option that gives a fair amount of protein for the calories.
When I have time I like to make egg white omelets or use an egg-beaters type thing. It is really filling out without the yokes there aren't many calories. Somedays I may have 8 egg whites throughout the day, usually 4 for breakfast.
Yeah but eating only the white part is not like eating the whole egg ... The egg whites are very healthy ...
It seems that one should not eat more than 2 whole eggs a day ... That's good to know.
Egg whites have huge amounts of protein without fat. They add satiety value to other foods like shakes. Any snack that has protein in it will fill you up more. If you go read in the Ladies Who Lift threads you'll see that folks who exercise vigorously also try to keep their protein percentages up.
I realise that that is a pretty cursory answer and full of generalizations but it's the mentality I use to keep my protein up and my fats lower.
Hello
They say that you use more calories eating a hard boiled egg than the calories an egg is worth.
I like 2 boiled eggs for a High Protein breakfast.
I´m off to boil them now.

I eat at least 4 eggwhites every morning and throughout the day too when I don't know what to eat. There are many vitamins in the yolk, I agree, but that's where the fat is, so I don't eat it often because of the fat content. The whites is what has all the protein and according to Fitday:
large eggwhite only: 17 cals, 0g fat, 0g carbs, 3g protein....
large yolk only: 61 cals, 5g fat, 0g carbs, 3g protein,
So every morning I have 68 calories and 12g of protein with oatmeal of course, I feel that's a great breakfast. I definitely want the protein in my diet because it keeps me fuller longer, NOT the fat...
