Default Newbie

Hi, I'm Darla and I'm new.

I'm thinking about doing Weight Watchers, as I can see that trying to stick to a 1500 calorie diet isn't working. My question is, Which WW {eg. Home, Online, Meetings} is best? What do I need to know before I go to a meeting? Any Advice?

Hey girl! Im doing WW online and love it. However, a friend of mine sent me all of the at home stuff. So, Im thinking of using that stuff rather than pay for the online. The online gives a little accountablity though. I guess it would depend on how often you get online and if you have time to log all of your food in.

Love,
Deanne

Hi, I go to the meeting and that is what I need. I need some one else reading the scale and taking my money. I also need the interaction from all the people at my meeting. But the plan works well as long as you do it, I just need lots of in my face(in a good way) kind of motivation.

I chose to go to meetings, because I'd tried a lot of things on my own and wasn't sticking with them. You don't really need to know anything before you go--the meetings last half an hour and the leader will give you a short training session afterwards, along with all the introductory materials. Weighing in is more or less private between you and the receptionist/leader. My meetings cost $14, or you can buy 10 weeks in advance for $120. I think there is a registration fee now, but they were running a free registration special when I joined.

Thanks....I checked and there is a meeting today at 6:30 right across the street from me. On their website, it says I can attend one meeting free, So I guess I'm going to try this....wish me luck!

If anything I might go and pay for the materials, then follow the plan myself at home.
