Default 42 pounds down!

Hi Everyone,

I have only posted on here once or twice. I have lost 42 pounds so far. was up to 314 and now down to 272. I have been taking prescription diet pills and a 1200 calorie a day diet. I know that diet pills are kinda cheating, but I needed help. I have no will power whatsoever. I am down almost 3 sizes in my waist and one size in my chest. It feels so good to see results.

Anyway, just wanted to say hi and let everyone know how I was doing.

congratulations! I don't think it's cheating at all! Anything that helps in my opinion is good! Congratulations!! Keep up the good work! HOpe to see you around the boards more!

wow, awesome! good job, and I also don't think using diet pills is cheating. As long as you know the only way to really lose weight and keep it off, is through diet and exercise.

Congratulations! And I agree with the poster above, using prescription diet pills isn't cheating at all! Also, I bet your willpower will improve once you really start noticing the changes in your body that this weight loss is going to bring about. When you're happier with the way your body looks, moves, and feels, you'll probably be a lot more inclined to exercise and eat right just as a matter of course. Good luck!

thanks for all the encouragement. yes, my will power has definitely changed. I haven't eaten fast food in over 3 months. I am a lot more self conscious about what I put into my body now. When I go out to eat, I am always researching the menu before we go to see what they have on the light menu and to see if they have any nutrition information.

I am prbably not getting as much exercise as I should, but I have been doing a lot of walking and aerobic exercise.

I have lost another 6-7 lbs in the last week. I am expecting it to start slowing down a lot at this point. I have noticed a drastic change in my appearance as well as my clothes; none of them fit any longer. People are noticing that I have lost a good bit of weight and that is great motivation.

I will keep everyone posted. Again, thanks for all the support.
