Default Fabulous Friday Menu 3-18-05

b: crustless pumpkin pie
s: banana
l: leftover chinese chicken spaghetti, pear, milk
d: chili w/ff cheese, applesauce, milk

It's dd's 4th birthday today, and I'm bound and determined to enjoy the day WITHOUT cake. We'll make her cake this afternoon, have it for her party after dinner, and then I plan on taking the rest immediately to our babysitting co-op, so the other kids can enjoy it and I won't.

I think tonight for our date I'm taking dh roller skating, if he agrees. It's been years since I've gone, and it sounds like fun.

You sound determined not to be tempted by the cake Angela - good for you!

I am trying to stay on track for tomorrow's weigh in!

Breakfast: egg mcmuffin, hash brown and coffee w/cream (so hungry!)

Lunch: small greek salad & veggie soup

Snack: fresh strawberries & yogurt

Dinner:??? no plans yet? not sure...depends what time I get home from physio, might stop at the grocery store on the way home and pick something up!

Having trouble w/my water today but I know it's important for me to guzzle the day before weigh-in!

I'm having a tiny bit of trouble today too, Frouf. I forgot my lunch because I left home at 6:00 and was still half asleep. But since I'm only staying until 2:30 (have to work all weekend again so I thought I'd just do 8 hours today) I'll stop somewhere on the way home and get something. The only things I know for sure is (1) that I'm drinking lots of tea and water, and (2) what's for dinner. So ...

D: leftover Boston Market food from last night: roasted chicken, meatloaf, corn, green beans, garlic dill new potatoes and I'll probably add a little salad to mine.

Your dinner sounds great Kathy - Hope you are not too starving at work tho!

Just having lunch now - not supremely hungry so I am eating my 2 small containers of yogurt and dipping my strawberries in them - very yummy! If I get hungry later I will hunt down a snack...there's always my emergency stash of oatmeal - who says it's only for breakfast?

B - oatmeal and apple
L - sushi with my points
D - chicken soup with barley
S - yogurt or milky something

This sushi has me really full. I had it at 3 pm and don't see myself eating anything until maybe 7 or 8.
