Slavika: Oh Oh Sammy is in trouble! Poor Sammy better hide! Thats a great idea for a WW meeting. Only I would have a problem. I threw all my old stuff out. I wish I would of saved one thng. But Alas I didnt.. We are suppose to take a recipe that we love to ours next week. Should come home with a bunch of good ones to!

Geri: My that was mighty nice of your daughter. You are to kind! I would of told her to do it herself! You will be sore tomorrow with that kind of work out. Take it easy tommorrow!

That wasn't Karen's laundry I ironed! It was mine. I told her I would watch and play with her baby, but I am not cleaning her house. Occasionally I put something in the oven for her to help her get supper if she has an early night meeting and will only be home for a brief time between day and night meetings. And I empty the dishwasher and fill it. But that is all. I am there to keep the baby and that is what I do. She does her own housework and laundry.

Like the fish. Glad to see that someone is keeping Slavika's fingers from being overworked:)

Geri: Oh Im glad! Sounded like you did hers! Im just not that nice mostly when it comes to Ironing. As I hate it with a passion!

Slavika..With all the gals starting the new threads, what the heck are you doing? I guess that one of these days I will have to start one .
I got rid of all my really big clothes, but I do have a dress from 20 lbs ago. I put it on today OVER the clothes I was wearing and it was still really big. I think tomorrow's meeting will be a good one, because just putting on the dress today made me remember how unhappy I was when I bought that dress a couple of summers ago. See you tomorrow... :D
Geri I don't think you should do your DD work either, looking after the baby is enough, and she probably doesn't expect you to do the ironing anyway.
....speaking of ironing.... YIKES... I have quite a bit sitting downstairs, and I washed clothes again today. The pile is like Everest.
Lily.. you know how we all like new recipes, if you get any good ones :^: please pass them on.

Well now I am on this new thread and I can't remember who said what on the last one. :?: I hope everyone had a good day. See you tomorrow.....

Here's to Geri I sure hope you can move today. After weight training for 2 hours I surely don't know how you did all that ironing much less pick up a baby. It does seem like the ironing pile never goes away. Even stuff that supposedly doesn't have to be ironed. My dh had a friend come over Sat when I was gone and they fixed the hot water faucet for the washer, finally put up the new light fixture in the bathroom and fixed the light switch over the sink that hasn't worked for at least 2 years. He had little Happy Mother's Day notes on them. Either the bathroom light fixture is very, very bright or the old one was dull. You don't like to look in the mirror in the morning. Not a pretty sight. Slavika and Trudy your WW meeting sounds like fun. Will be a hoot to see some of the outfits. Have fun! Hi Lily, Karen, Glenda and Maria[now what are you up to?] Talk later, Peggy

Good Morning Lily
I saw "Sammy" in the yard this morning and I said to him, "Sammy, did you dig in my flower box"? He said, no he didn't do "DAT" it was a squirrel that "just" looked like him". LOL :D

Trudy: Im sure Slavika is bored now as she has nothing to do. :)
I really wish I would of saved one thing that was big as a reminder. Im gonna have to go on a search and see if maybe I forgot something. I will add some recipes to the page. I havent done that in a while. Im a bad girl....

Peggy: How cute of your DH to have all those little things done for you on Mothers Day! I would keep him around for a little while longer.

Slavika: I knew it wasnt Sammy! Had to be his evil brother.

G'day all,

Well I will have to have a bit of a 'vent' today.
I am sure it is now the world over but how do you feel about getting the run around with all the large utilities and banks.
You cannot talk to a person, you ring and you have to go thru a ridiculous amount of prompts to be put in a queue and told that 'your call is important........'
Yesterday dh asked me to sort some things out at our bank. Went to the bank told them I would really like to speak to a PERSON rather then on the phone. Of course they said she could help me only so far but with some of the other issues I had, she would have to ring herself to get the answers, like what is the balance on some of our different accounts!!!!!!
The manager (a young girl in her early thirties) and another lady tried to help me but they themselves were very frustrated with having to ring and go thru all the prompts themselves to be then put in a queue, you would have thought there would be a hotline for staff.
I ended up being there for almost 3 hours trying to get things sorted. The staff at the bank and myself parted the best of friends and they said they enjoyed the challenges I threw to them  Then of course dh is the primary account holder and HE must make the changes I requested.
Went home and thought I would have a talk to you guys and I had problems with my service provider again :( Rang them and after the many prompts got to a young girl who was so patronising using stupid analogies why I was unable to get on the net etc. etc. By this stage I was really angry , told her that I had been using the internet for the past 6 years and her ridiculous analogies made no sense at all. I then requested to be put thru to a senior technician who could help me with my problem.
As you can see I am back on line again.
Just as well I have the time to do it, I am sure they count on people just giving up, too hard, too much time.
Once upon a time when I worked full time that is how I felt, I now have the time so watch out :D
Now that I got all that of my chest, life is good.
I am very much on track with my points etc. and feel I am going the right way and I WILL succeed shedding this weight.
Fantastic Trudy being able to put a dress that once fitted over your present day clothes. Good for you.
I haven't done much exploring as yet, I have been walking in the garden across the road from me, they are just superb. The climate here being cooler than Sydney is reflected in some of the beautiful plants grown in the botanical gardens.
Have a great day all, I have rambled on long enough again.
Cheers
Maria

Hi gals..
The WW meeting was really interesting ... there were quite a few of us who brought in BIG clothes. A couple have lost around 80 lbs and when they held up the pants, 2 people could stand behind them. One gal came up to the front with a huge nightgown, took that off to show a big T-shirt, took that off and had a pair of jeans that were so big, and the belt was so big it just hung down. It's when you can put the too big clothes on over what you are wearing that you really see how far you have come. Then the Leader talked about what kind of foods we kept in the cupboards and fridge and what kind of food we keep now.... big difference. :D I am 3.4 lbs BELOW goal now :D.. believe me, I NEVER thought I would ever be able to do that. My personal challenge for the next few months will be not to go over goal.
Slavika your backyard looks so pretty with all the flowers and hanging basket, the garden tomato plants looked so lush. And there was Sammy's little house, carpeted and stocked with food, I half expected to see him doing the backstroke in the pool you have set up for the Grandkids. He sure leads a luxurious life...
Geri.. You must really be fit to weight train for 2 hours. On Tues. I usually go to a class that runs for 1 hr, but we do the whole body training.
Peggy.. getting all those jobs finished must have been a great Mother's Day Present for you. Had to laugh with you about the light in the bathroom... I know how scary it can be when we see ourselves in bright lights.
Lily... I will keep looking for the new recipes, we can never have too many. Slavika and I know a couple of gals who DO NOT have any cookbooks, and are not interested in recipes. We read them like novels. :D I liked your little fish in the bowl.

It has been a good day... tonight we are having company, so I will say Goodnight to my cyber friends...

Maria: I know what you mean. Pretty sad when you have to drive miles to the nearest bank and then they cant even help you when you get there! Our banks are all in Grocery stores with no one to talk to. So you do have to drive miles and miles if you really need to talk to someone. Pretty sad if you ask me.

Trudy: Im gonna go add a Shrimp Linguine recipe now. Will try to get more in there to.
I knew Sammy had his own carpeted house. :D She spoils him!

Check Breakfast and desserts to added some there.

Thought I had lost you! I've been going back and forth trying to catch up. You have all been busy. And sounds like you all had an enjoyable Mothers' Day!

Maria: I know what you mean about never being able to talk to a live person. I've gotten so I fib and act as if I don't have a touchtome phone and then eventually I get a real person. :D The Botanical gardens sound wonderful. I love to walk through places like that.

Slavika: Do you spoil Sammy with cracked corn. My DD buys corn expecially for their squirrel Houdini.

Trudy: I really like the music of the Inkspots and other groups of that era. The old stuff has it all over most of the new music. Sometimes I wonder if they really know the tune. They seem to be all over the place. Guess my age shows.

Karen: Glad you didn't lose your post this time. What special thing have you done for your meeting? I couldn't take any of my too big clothes, as I too got rid of them all. I didn't want them around to make me feel I could fall back on them if I didn't stay on the program.

Geri: 11 pairs of shorts!!!!!!Now that's a bargain.:) That will be a lot less ironing. I too thought you were being a really kind mother, so am glad you set us straight. I hate to do my own, so would have to be in a really loving mood to do someone elses.:D

Peggy: Now you can wash with hot water! what nice Mothers' Day presents. I have finally decided I much prefer to look at myself in the mirror without my glasses on. A bit fuzzy, but no wrinkles.:o

Glenda: What's happening with you? How is your friend doing? Are you gardening along with everyone else?

Lily: Looking forward to new recipes. Thank you. I love new recipes, and try them out all the time. My DH is a good sport about it most of the time, but every now and then he will say "you don't have to make that again on my account".:nono:

I seem to remember somebody said they have osteoporosis. I just got an 800 number to call to try to be a part of a study. If anyone is interested it is 1 800 65 study.

"See" you tomorrow. Goodnight. Ann

Hi y'all,

Just a quick hello. Maria, I too get very upset at computer calls and button pushing and waiting-----usually to have someone hang up on me and have to start the whole process over again. I think whoever invented computerized phone calls should be drawn and quartered.

Trudy I envy you seeing the Inkspots. I remember them. They sang some beautiful songs. The originals are all dead or are they just retired? Perry Como died the other day. There soon will be none of the really good singers left.

Slavika, has Sammy been told the facts of life?--That he must stay out of the flower box or he will be looking for new digs. Somebody better inform the poor thing before he becomes homeless.

Hi everyone, Know just how you feel Maria about the phone calls. The one that really makes me mad is when you call the phone company. It takes forever to get a real person. I feel my time is just as valuable as theirs. Trudy how great to be below goal. Your meeting sounds like it was a lot of fun. Slavika your yard sounds so pretty. Don't you just love spring and summer? Sammy is really a very spoiled squirrel. I hope he doesn't tell my squirrels how pampered he is. We didn't get the rain last night that was expected but it did rain inside. Seems the dishwasher is leaking thru the ceiling into the basement. There is some very wet carpeting. Now we will have to pull the ceiling and paneling down. It is always something. The shrimp recipe sounds yummy. Have to go check that out. Bye for now, Peggy

Good Morning Everybody
Today is Wed, so its shopping/lunch day with my friend.
I had hoped I would lose some weight yesterday but ALAS I stayed the same. I will not over eat at lunch, I will not over eat at lunch...........:)
Trudy is right, WW was fun. Our Leader is very good, and Trudy and I sit with a bunch of really nice gals. We always try to get there at least a 1/2 hour before the meeting just to chat with everybody. Tea Time was great. Someone asked about Dee she was over for tea and feeling pretty good yesterday. She brought each of us the "starter" for Friendship Cinnamon Bread. (Like I "NEED" Cinnamon Bread) LOL :nono:
Geri good for you for keeping up with your workouts. I wish I was as dedicated.
Maria I too, am sick of pushing numbers on my touch phone and hearing "how my call is important, so If I just hold on for an estimated 23 minutes "someone" will actually speak to me. Even DH (who works for a bank) has voice mail now, and you would have to be bank robber to get the attention of a "living" person.
Good Morning Ann yes, Sammy gets corn. Actually I buy him a mix made up especially for squirrels that has grain, sunflower seeds, corn and other stuff in it. I even put out slices of apple or him and grapes because I read on the internet they like fruit.
Lily I checked my flower box and after my little "talk" with Sammy everything seems to be fine. :)
I told him, flat out I would take his little floatation away from him and then pool time would be very boring. :D Oh Lordy I think I am losing it. I used to talk "to" and "for" my dog and now I do the same with a squirrel. Oh well, I'm sure you gals would come and visit me if I am "placed".
Peggy to bad about the dishwasher leaking, but you are right . it's always something..
Have a great day everybody, and I'll come back later on to visit........

LilyG

Ann: My DH says the same thing some times! I do try new things all the time and not very often but it does happen that some of them are pretty bad....... I cant even eat them. But there are ones I like that he doesnt. I loved the WW Cheese Lasagna one and he didnt like it at all.

Geri: Sammy is so spoiled now that Slavika will never kick him out. Even if she trys he wont go. Heck he has a carpeted house all the food he wants and a garden to dig and now a pool. Now would you leave?

Peggy: Oh no! Sounds like a lot of damage the washer did. Hope its not to bad.

Slavika: Glad Dee is doing good. She nevers pops in here anymore. That meeting did sound fun. My leader goes on a program here once a month and had 3 girls do that. It was fun to watch, as there was a big difference! Yes I will visit you when you are placed. Actually I will probably be there with you. My DH says I belong in a home as Im pretty wierd.

Trudy: Forgot to tell you, congrats on being 3# under goal! Thats great! How many more did you want to go?

G'day all

Well yes China may well be our next destination :):( not too sure how I feel about it. DH's company has won a large contract in China yesterday and the possibility of us going to China at the end of Melbourne is now a real possibility.
This company has been known to change their mind a few times, so who knows they might think his expertise is of more use in London or indeed the USA ;)
I just hope I will have at least a week at home and not just 2 days as we did between Hong Kong and Sydney.
Because of the above news, I am making an even more serious effort to get my web page up and running so my children and friends have an idea what we are up to.

It is again a lovely crisp autumn morning here, (no squirrels, I don't think we have them in australia) You do make me laugh Slavika but I think you are absolutely right about the bankrobber bit:D
Peggy I hope the leaking dishwasher has not caused too much damage, you are right there is always SOMETHING
Trudy and Slavika your meetings do sound a lot of fun. The very first time I joined WW, the meetings I attended were similar to that and I used to look forward to catching up with everyone and have a bit of a chat. The other times when I joined have never been the same and of course I now use my WW CD to keep track. Don't think there is WW in China, do you :D

Karen where are you, hope everything is OK.

Today I intend to finish sorting all my photo's and naming them. I download them on my computer from my camera but they all have names like 'img 0000045' etc. so I have no idea what the photo is until I look at it. :p
I can then fully devote my time on getting the web page going.
Also the 'alcohol free' time I am having is working very well, I feel great and the weight is definetly moving, even DH noticed this morning. I might well decide on an alcohol free life from now on. If only I could do things in moderation:)
Have a great day all
Cheers
Maria

Hi Everybody
Peggy I laughed when I read your short post. Can you even imagine what someone coming to our board and reading our posts must think. LOL :D
Maybe that's why nobody new has joined us in awhile.

I had a lovely day with my friend and tried not to eat too much at lunch and then I had a very light dinner. :)
Maria about three weeks ago an old school chum of mine went to Asia with her husband. I know they were in Hong Kong but they went other places too. One of the places they went to it was suggested that they have an English speaking guide with them. The chap the company sent to them as a guide spoke English but not very well. Friends had told them that it was quite common for some of the restaurants in that area to serve dog, cat and snake meat. Well, eventually my friend, her DH and the guide got a cab and went to a restaurant for lunch. She was trying to
tell the guide what her friend had told her and didn't think he understood, so finally she shook her head vigorously from side to side and said, "NO meow, woof, or SSSSS". She thought he understood, as he grinned from ear to ear but settled for a salad. :)
Trudy how was your evening out?
"Talk" to you all tomorrow. night.

Hi... we had a real busy day. This morning I worked out and after a lot of running around doing errands, I spent part of the afternoon getting my toes ready for sandals... Yesterday was my DD's Birthday and today was Mom's...so the whole family went to DD's place tonight for a double celebration. We had a lovely time. DD is 28 and Mom is 88. When I got home, the first thing I did was log on and check my e-mail, and the 2nd was check out our board for my daily laugh... you gals are really funny. :D
Maria.. China next? You an your DH sure are getting around - good for the both of you. :) Get working on the Web page, we are going to need it to keep track of you.
Lily.. I am quite happy where I am with my weight right now. I would just love to stay right where I am, but I know that I will fluctuate.... I keep remembering what Karen wrote a while back that it is normal for the weight to go up and down by a few lbs.
Peggy.. I can't believe your dishwasher caused a little flood... what next?
Geri .. I read in the newspaper that Perry Como died. I used to watch his show every week when he was on. The original Ink Spots made their 1st recording in 1937, so they are all gone, but the 3 of the fellows who replaced them are still with the group (and they are quite old), the rest are younger fellows. They really harmonized beautifully.
Ann.. I am with you when it comes to the new generations idea of music. We have been to performances where the music was so loud and the base so strong, we could feel the pounding in our chest.
Slavika..What have you got planned for the Princess tomorrow? :D I bet a lot of lurkers read our posts and think we are "strange", but we do have a lot of fun.

I will be MIA for a week or so... we are taking a little trip (no bus  ). bye bye now. ... and be good ;)

Trudy in case you pop in have fun wherever you are going. Have a safe trip. Maria do you know how long you will be in China? I hope you are keeping a journal of all your travels. Would be interesting reading someday when you don't have anything to do. Can't wait to see your web page. I can imagine that it is a lot of work. A week or so at home probably does sound like a luxury now. Slavika I like the way your friend expressed herself in China. Good thinking on her part. I would have had salad too. At least you know what is in it. How is Sammy today? I lost a pound this week. Slow but sure is me. Maybe someday I will catch up to all of you. We need Karen to post an inspirational message of the week or something. See you later, Peggy

Maria: Now china. I really dont know how you do it I would go crazy never being home.

Karen: I know Slavika and that squirrel. My goodness... How she babys Sammy. :)

Slavika: actually It is. There was a post in the WW about us. I did say we were a supportive bunch. You can read it here:
http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=5076
But ya know we have fun.
Dog, cat and snake meat? Oh my. Dont think I want to go there.

Trudy: Your Birthday Celebration sounded fun! Yep the weight does flucuate alot. Im am learning that now. Where are you going? Hope some place fun! Glad its not on a bus to! Have fun!!

Peggy: Good for you another # gone! Slow but sure still wins the race. I was slow to. And you will get there! You are doing great so far. Seems like its a pound a week and thats good.

Lily,

Your reply was very nice. I have been in this thread since the day I joined 3FC. I have seen weight discussed an awful lot. I am glad that we are friends. I hope the lady who didn't think we discussed weight enough lurks for a while to see what we are really about. You are right---we are friends; and I cannot think of a time in life when you need friends more than when you are attempting to lose weight. This is the most supportive bunch of women I have ever "met". You boost when I need boosting, you praise me when I've earned it, and I keep learning new things from you.

Has anybody heard from Dee or Margot? I wish they would check in and say "hi".

Better get back to cleaning house. I got a surprise day off. My DD took a couple of days off. She is just plain tired. The stress of trying to be all things to all people is getting to her. She needs about 2 weeks off, not 2 days.

Hi everyone:
Maria: China. That will be an adventure. Hope you can speak Chinese with your hands and draw a lot a pictures. I'm not so sure I would even eat salad. We always read about not eating anything that grows above ground, when in foreign countries, and not to drink the water.

Trudy: Have a great trip. I was sad to hear Perry Como died. All the great ones are slowly leaving us. I know what you mean about getting your ribs rattled with the loud music. I always go prepared with cotton for my ears, too.

Peggy: Hope the leak didn't require new ceilings and all that stuff. Slow and steady is the way to go with the #off. I just go back and forth. I have to remember what Karen said. It is frustrating sometimes.

Lily: I've searched the web for the Skinny Cow. and except for 50 test stores, it is not yet in Fl. I'll have to work on that and make some requests to store managers.

Slavika: Did Sammy accept his scolding in good form? I'm sure he still loves you with his carpeted 'pad' and pool.Where else would he have it so good. Your meeting sounded like fun. I don't have any big clothes left. Gave them away. Staying the same is good. Wish I could seem to do that.

Karen: Don't work too hard. You always have words of wisdom for us. What interesting things have you been doing at your meetings?

I'm happy you 'gals' took me in. Cyber friends are very nice. Will check back later tonight as now my DH and I have to go to the pool and cool off. Somebody has to do it. Its' a tough life! Ann

G'day all,

Very quickly as I am having problems with connections where I am staying.
I have to agree with everyone thet we are first and foremost 'friends' albeit cyberfriends. It is great to share information and realise in so many ways no matter where you are, we are all the same.
I have never lasted long where the sole discussion is weight! The fact that if I do wish to discuss weight, recipes etc. I can and know I will get a wise and sympathetic answer.
I have said it before and will say it yet again (a bit of trait when one matures to repeat themselves, just ask my kids:D) when I feel a bit down or homesick, it so good to come here and read about Sammy or the princess, or a mishap with driving around the elderly,
that immediately puts me right again.
I really appreciate your friendship and my wish is to meet everyone of you one day, who knows when we do finally retire:D:D
Cheers
Maria

I went to the thread where the person felt we spoke not enough about weight.......
Lily and Trudy Bravo, your replies are my sentiments exactly, very well said.
And now that we are on weight, I cannot believe the difference with me really and truly focussing on the task at hand. According to my scales I have lost 3 pounds since leaving Sydney (almost a week ago) don't know if the scales are right but I feel it in my clothes that some weight has shifted. :):)
You guys at goal are my role models and one day I will join you at goal as well.
Have a great day all

Hi everybody
I had a great day with the Princess. She picked me a lovely bouquet of dandelions. On Mother's Day she presented me with "one" dandelion, saying, "here, Baba I picked a flower for you". The Prince of course is 7 yrs old going on 56yrs. and told her,"tecnically, dandelions were not flowers, but weeds". It didn't seem to have any effect on her at all. GOOD. :D LOL

Maria you're right, Lily and Trudy presented us as friends on this board and we are. We talk about weight loss issues lots of times, and menopause, osteroporosis, recipes, hair removal from parts of our bodies we never thought hair would grow :D and a ton of other subjects. You are also right in that it doesn't matter whether we live in Australia, U.S or Canada, when "women of that certain age" get together they find they have far more in common then their desire to lose weight. BUT.........we manage to do that too. Anyway, I hope if some new gals spend time reading our posts, they'll get to know us and will come and join us. :) Congrats to you on your 3# loss. :)
Peggy Good for you too, another lb gone forever. Don't you love it. Ann did you have to mention you were going to the pool to cool off when I had to wear a jacket to the park with the Princess this afternoon. YIKES......:(
Bye for now.

Our Canadian friends don't realize what they are missing by not living in Texas or Florida. My grandkids have been swimming for almost a month. Now I grant you it is still too cool for me, but they love it. In fact one of my "princesses" (Kelly--age 6) had her Daisey troop over for a cookout and swimming party yesterday.

My DH and I are going to the Colonial (a golf tournament) tomorrow. I am going to sneak a couple of books into my purse. I also have to sneak in bottles of water. He said he had to pay $6 for a glass of lemonade today. I ain't never been that thirsty! I guess you are used to paying outlandish prices for everything with as much traveling as you do, Maria.

We are having some "fancy shmanzy" company this weekend. I hope I get the house clean. I am not the best housekeeper in the world. I am an excellent cook, but when God was passing out the housekeeping talent I got in the wrong line and missed out. (My kids think that was on purpose).

Maria: I agree we cant be weight talk all the time it would get boring.
Congrats on the loss! And even better the clothes are gettung loose to.

Slavika: Oh how sweet dandelions! Glad Princess didnt listen to the Prince. Dandelions are nice! You are right we need to chat about what ever! Life isnt all about weight now is it?

Geri: Oh my 6$ for Lemonade? Think I would be sneaking in water to. Thats unheard of! Get a maid only way to go. I have one that comes 2 times a month and its wonderful. You can find some cheap ones. So look around. Well worth the money. So are you cooking also for this party?

Later!

Geri have fun on the golf course tomorrow. Smuggle that water in. $6 is a rip off for lemonade. Don't worry about your house - they should be coming to see you. I got my haircut today. Glad to be gone since the leak turned out to be a major one. A big hole in a pipe. Had to tear part of a wall out. I agree with all of you, if all we talked about was weight it would be boring. There are so many things we can learn from each other like Slavika's Sammy. I think we all support each other in our weight loss, especially all of you who have reached goal. We have a wedding shower to go to tomorrow and I am walking 5 miles in Multiple Sclerosis walk Sunday. After the walk my 73 year old sister is in a tap dancing exhibition so we are going to see her dance. I wish I could keep up with her. She is in some kind of dancing granny group. Talk later, Peggy

G'day all from a cloudy day in Melbourne,

I had a great day yesterday, went for a long walk in the botanical gardens where I came across a 'craft cottage'. Spoke to a lady there who was telling me of the workshops they have. One is on 23 June to make cards with pressed flowers. She showed me some of the examples, they were just stunning made by some very talented people. Anyway I thought it would be interesting to learn that there is more to drying a flower than sticking it in a telephone book :D I told her about my life and she said that this is probably something that I could do wherever I go.
Daughter is coming this morning, she is shooting a video tape to apply to be a member of the Australian Survivor team:rolleyes:. Not too sure about that, I haven't seen much of those programs but what I have seen is that it seems a bit cruel and humiliating. Anyway she wants to have a go and has the whole thing scripted etc. The rumour is that the Australian Survival team will be going to Canada.
I have been meaning to tell you that the fatblaster pills are in the rubbish, goodness knows what possessed me to buy them in the first place:o. Good old WW, counting points and journaling is definetly the only way.

Geri that is a ridiculous price for lemonade. Whilst being away from home it is sometimes difficult to prepare like you are doing, I do resent paying some of the exhorbatant prices that get charged at different places we go. Is it normal for you to have such hot weather in what I assume is still spring??
Peggy Sorry to hear the leak was major, are you insured for this sort of mishap?
Good for you making the 5 mile walk in aid of MS. That is quite a substantial walk, you probably could join your sister for a bit of a tapdance, have fun :)
Slavika dandelions, now they could be interesting to dry. I love all flowers and I don't really care if they are a supposed weed or not. You should have seen the most magnificent camelia tree I saw in the botanic gardens yesterday, it was full of buds, hope I might still be here for it to burst into bloom. I took quite a few photos, it was early in the morning and very few people around, so peaceful.
Have a great day,
Cheers
Maria
