I'm trying to wean myself off my beloved coffee. :( I know it's not good for me. I know the caffeine is very addictive, yeeeessss I needssss it. :coffee: my preciousssss, coffee! Never mind me, we watched LOTR last night. I have to remember to drink lots of water when the woodburner is going. Hope you have a great day and I'll be here throughout peekin' in.

All of you mommies have a superfabulous day!!! It's Monday, we must be optimistic! TTYL

WOW! Good Morning to HARDLY ANYONE! LOL! Where are all of you!?! I know that soem of you start your new jobs today! :goodluck: :) :) Fill us in right away!

Just a fly by for me..... :) again...dh and I are trying to get into the swing of things now that he is home in the evenings. He is already annoying me. He got to have a lazy weekend, and I scrapbooked all weekend. I got 13 pages done on sat at the scrap party we had! :) Worked from 7pm until 3am in the morning! It was a blast though ! :)

Today is clean, clean, clean..half of the crap from Sats party is still laying around, and I have so much laundry and The dog ate one of my wreaths and there are twigs and such all over my bedrrom floor.

I will try to get back here after I get dd down for a nap...however, I make no promises since I have only slept about 7 hours total the last 2 nights! I need a nap too! :) Hope you all have a great day!

HI Ricci  I was pleasantly surprised to see you start the thread this morning !:) :)

Roxy - Good Morning, enjoy staying cozy :) our weather is so on and off here...I am ready for winter, snow and cozy days......BRING IT ON!! Its still like Fall around here, which I love too, but every season I am ready to see the next! LOL!

Wow it's super slow today! I didn't have very much time to check in over the weekend and when I did I was so overwhelmed by how much I missed and needed to catch up on that I just couldn't bring myself to post. I think I feel guilty also since I have so much homework that posting is fun for me and I should be focusing on my HUGE paper. Anyway I am here now and just wanted to say hi to everyone. Bayley is still sick so no gym for me today either. I missed all last week cuz of her being sick but hopefully she will get better soon and I can go back.

11-08-2004, 12:08 PM
yikes didn't mean to post yet! LOL Must have hit the wrong button. Anyway.................

Ricci thanks for starting the new thread! How is school going? How much longer do you have? I'm so excited for you!

Roxy I was cracking up over the LOTR comment! My dh and I talk like Golem every now and again and it cracks us up. Your woodstove sounds so cozy! I wish we had snow here. We don't usually get very much, just cold and foggy! Blech! Hope you are having a good day!

Kristin, your party sounded great! How cool that you got so much done! I bet that feels great. My dh stayed up till three on Sat. night but not scrapbooking! LOL He was watching 24 on DVD. He went through withdrawals after we turned off the satellite a few months ago! LOL

Ok well I need to get the baby up and dressed so we can go to my moms and I can go to school. My rough draft of my paper is due next week!! AHHHHHH I am so behind, not really sure what I am going to do but I know I can get through it. Hope everyone else that hasn't posted today is having a great morning! Good luck to those who started their jobs today! WE WANT DETAILS!! LOL TTYL

P.S. I did measurements on Friday and for this last 2 weeks I have lost 1.5 inches all over and I have lost 20 inches since Bayley was born!! Isn't that crazy!!! Anyway TTYL

11-08-2004, 12:46 PM
Hi Gals!
Just peepin' in quickie like, in between loads and cleanin'. Kristin I would love to see your scrap book, I bet it's going to be great! Scrapbooking and stamping are big around here. It is so fun! Well really all art n crafts are big around here. Winters are long and cold, so we have to do stuff so we don't go crazy. I actually thought that spinning classes (I think Chris (?) or Michelle, drat my terrible memory!) said they were starting, was for wool! Since people around here do everything! Man I need to get out more often! Have fun cleaning, Hey, I'll race ya!

Jill- I hope Bayley, feels better! Good luck on your paper, too! I'm sure you will feel so relieved when that is over with! BTW- :dancer: WOOO! HOOOO! :dancer: on the 20 inches!!! Doesn't it feel great! Brilliant!

I'll buzz by in a little while my dryer just went off, Yesssss LAUNDRY We HATESSSESSS

11-08-2004, 12:49 PM

11-08-2004, 12:52 PM
hye roxy - you snuck in on me! Too funny about the wool thing......hehe. I am working on a heritage scrapbook, its for my dads side of the family. Its turning out really nice! :) Are you scraping all 10 kids childhoods? If thats the case, I would love a long winter! LOL! TTYL!

11-08-2004, 12:56 PM
Good morning ladies!

Cindy and Spryng...hope you are enjoying your first day of work! How's it going?

Roxy...SNOW??? That means you'll be sending it my way soon  We don't seem to get all that much anymore..although last year was pretty good. I'm not too much of a snow person but now that I have kids I love to take them out to play in it. Dh doesn't go out much but with both of them wanting to play this year, I will drag his sorry butt out too!

Michelle, congrats on the good loss! Wow, I'm impressed. I don't have WI this week because we have a special meeting tonight with weight recorder training. Since I'm the weight recorder for my TOPS chapter I have to go to that instead. Bummer, no WI  :p ;)

Jill, congrats on the loss of inches!! You got rid of your sattelite??? That will NEVER happen here. :D

Kristin..I have about 3 years of scrapping to do :dizzy:  . When you're done you can come do mine!

Hi, I was surprised you started the thread too. Happens about as often as I do

Hi to everyone else! Spent yesterday getting the yard cleaned up for winter...burning leaves, taking clothesline down, putting furniture away, getting snow blower out of hiding. This Friday is my Pampered Chef party so I have to plan my cleaning so that the house is in order by then since I work Thurs & Friday. Also have to get all the appetizers ready Thurs night so I'm ready to go. Mom is coming to clean my carpets this week while I work. So nice of her. I was trying to figure out how to do it with the boys home as they never leave me alone when I try to get something done!

Well, off to answer some emails then get the sheets out of the dryer and back on the bed. Have a wonderful day everyone. TTYL

11-08-2004, 01:16 PM
Good afternoon everyone. Guess everyone is busy today. I went to the gym this morning and got myworkout in so I feel great about that. Then I went to Toys r Us to do some more shopping. I got my son a nice 20 inch bike for only $15. I thought it was $30, which was still a pretty good deal, but when I checked out it rang up $15. Turns out it was a clearance item and was an additional 50% off. I was really happy. Well no time for replies now. I need to get some cleaning done. Hope Cindi and Spryng are having a good first day at work. I'll try to get back later.

11-08-2004, 03:49 PM
Wow! It is slow here today! Where is everyone? I know Cindi and Spryng are working, but everyone else is MIA!

I just go there because I've been making another tote bag for my ds (7) so he can paint it tonight after homework and room cleaning :D .

Dh is going to keep kids so I can go to Curves this afternoon after I pick dd up from preschool. Then he has to go to work and I have to take ds (16) to scouts.

Jill: WTG on the loss! :D My WI and measurements are tomorrow but I have been bad this weekend. Eating was ok but not good! Had to have chips and dip for the game yesterday and there are still some lingering around here. One of my favorite foods and very hard to keep out of em. :o

Ricci: Hope you don't have anymore clients like that one last week!

Steph: WTG on getting to the gym this morning! Really good deal on the bike!

Geri: Sounds like you were really busy this weekend. Hope your Pampered Chef party goes great!

Kristin: Woohoo on getting all that scrapping done! I don't scrap, I craft so we will be getting into the swing of things for Christmas gifts and tree ornaments real soon.

Roxy: I have to have my coffee in the morning :coffee: . Someone told me the other day that they read where you can count coffee toward your water because that's the most of it. Maybe switch to decaf?

Well, I'm heading to pogo while I still can before I have to go get dd in about 50 minutes.

I got lucky and got off at 3pm today, which won't happen often I am sure! The job was great, everyone I work with is so nice and helpful. The kids had fun too! I really enjoyed my class, they are adorable! I think I can do this!! My 17 yo was home cleaning so I get to relax after a hard day's work :D

Spryng, I hope your day was just as great!

Glad to see you Ricci and Geri, very rare to see one of you open the thread, what's up with that? Where is Crystal??

Hey Kristin...Hope you get the change of dh home worked out soon, those men just know how to throw a wrench into a routine without even trying.

Roxy...SNOW!!! I am so ready for cooler weather. I am not a scrapper, nor am I crafty...I can't even draw good stick people!!

Jill...I hope that the stresses of school go away soon. You are doing great!

Michelle...10 pounds is so cool!! Keep it up and you will waste away. I didn't sleep much either, I hope the new schedule makes life easier for me in that department.

Kids fighting, gotta run! BBL

11-08-2004, 06:11 PM
There is NO better way to eat Turkey than deep fried! The only thing close is cooking a turkey breast in the crock pot, but that's still not as good! Just cook healthy stuff, you are in control this year, make it work for you!!

11-08-2004, 07:34 PM
I am one of those people that refuses to fry a turkey! strictly rotisserie for us! I love it that way. I have one of those ronco showtime rotisseries (the professional model) and it is absolutely wonderful.

Anyway had to throw my 2 cents in lol. We just got back from the lawyer and it looks like we'll have the hearing in mid December and I just can't wait til it is over.

Cindi I'm glad you enjoyed your first day at work and even got to come home to one of the children cleaning :) That must have been nice :D

Hey where is crystal, and penny?

Leigh I hope you come back soon :)

Anyway I just wanted to pop in and say hello but I've got to go do some homework now. I'll TTYL!!
Love to all!!

11-08-2004, 07:42 PM
Hello all!
Just got home and got out of those work clothes, lol... I'm so tired today. But it went great. Most of the morning was orientation and filling out forms and such, then lunch and then around 1:30 we got into our training room and met our trainer, who is super nice and so funny. I liked her right away. This is going to be one hard job as far as retaining info goes but I think I'll like it just fine. There are 15 other students with me so I felt like I was in high school all over again, lol. And the woman who sits right next to me is named Penny so of course I thought of Penny all day, lol. But anyway, the kids did great with SIL so I'm really not worried about them anymore. I thought I would miss them terribly all day but we were covering so much info I didn't really have time to think about them much. But I knew they are in good hands. Cindi wish I came home to a clean house! LOL! I haven't had dinner yet so I'm getting off here to go eat, I'm starving! But I'll be back before I go to bed and get personal with everyone. TTYL!

11-08-2004, 08:48 PM
Hello ladies!! I've been trying to get on here all day but it's been really hetic over here too. Taday we got our first snow fall! My daughters are really excited. The snow didn't stick though. I can't believe how cold it's getting either. My husband is home yet another week. Things are better and he's doing alot of kissing up too. Gee, maybe we should have arguments more often..LOL!! I'm just kidding..but I am thinking that I really must start my Christmas shopping soon. I normally wait until the day after Thanksgiving to start but I told my husband that I want to go tomorrow night. I'm really excited. I love buying things for the kids. What can I say, I'm a true mother at!

Sherry~ I'm here. Did you set up your messenger account yet?? I'm sorry you feel bad..I hope you feel better soon.

Crystal and Penny where are you???

Steph~ I love scrapbooking too! I just got involved in it and it's so much fun. I'm getting ready to sign up for Spring classes to go back to college. I will be doing online courses. I'm really excited. I really miss college!

Spryng~ I'm glad you like your new job so far! How's Bailey doing??

I guess it really is slow here today. Well have a nice evening ladies! I'll bb early in the morning..TTYL!

11-08-2004, 11:40 PM
Evening ladies.

I had to work today. So that's why the late post. I weighed in today and only lost one pound. I exercised my butt off last week and didn't even touch my 35 flexpoints in WW and that's all I get. I'm so discouraged. It's taken me 6 months to lose 20 lbs. That's not even a pound a week. I know you're all going to say that I'm doing good but all of you are having all these awesome results and working your way to your goal. You're the "hares" and I'm the turtle. I'm venting and not happy. :( Really disappointed to say the least.

I'll check back tomorrow. Just don't feel much like typing right now. I'm tired and the kids are insane tonight.

Rise and Shine,
Hope everyone is having a good morning.Well, it's laundry day for me.I didn't do laundry all weekend so now I get to play catch up.
I see some of you love scrapbooking.Well, I have a question. What is the best way to get started.I have about 4 boxes of the kids schoolwork and a BUNCH of pictures that I need to do something with and instead of just saving all that in boxes,I would like just to make each of them a scrapbook for when their older. How do you decide what to keep and what to trash. It's hard for me to trash any of their art projects.I'm getting alot better at not saving all their good grades but it's hard just to trash what they've worked hard on at school. But I have so much now I don't know where to start.Any suggestions.I would love to get my closet cleaned out. :?:

Whats for supper? Were having spagetti with salad. We had chicken and rice last night.I've not been OP now for about 2 weeks.I feel o.k. though. It's my turn to cook this year so I've been working on that.Well that's all for now it's time for the laundry to get started.ttyl.GOT COFFEE :coffee:

I am to the boards and thought I would say hello. I am a 26 yo SAHM Homeschooling Mommy of three. Tyler (7), Ashleigh (4) and Heather (2). I am finding that becuase I am a SAHM mom its hard to get to the gym. Anyone else have this problem?
My highest weight was 301 pounds. I am currently 182 (edited to say 190 pounds. I gained more weight then I thought since my last weigh in.) pounds. I want to be 160 pounds by xmas and 140 pounds by June 2005.
