I am new to this web board as well as new to the south beach diet. I was on atkins but platued and went off it about three months ago. I decided that all that fat was just not for me and and that this was definitely more to my liking. I am just starting phase one and am sure the weight loss will be slow.
About me I am38 a mom of two one teen girl and one pre teen boy ( thats enough to give anyone grey hairs) I work night shift in a sleep lab. I love ot work out but I overtained and hurt my back so I am back to square one. I am a book a holic and I do some drawing for stress relief.
Hi Amy! Welcome to the Beach! I'm Stephanie, I am fairly new to South Beach myself, I have just entered phase 2. I too was on Atkins and found the fat to be too much. I'm glad you are here, we have a great group of ladies here. Great support! Hi amy!! I started on Atkins too and just like you, I found the fat intake to be too much for my stomach! I constantly had stomach problems on Atkins then my doctor told me she preferred SB and here I am! I love it!! Its so easy to stick with and I don't feel deprived Good Luck with your weight Loss
