becky - i noticed your question about losing 2.5 pounds a week. personally i think that is a bit too fast. WW recommend between 1 and 2 pounds a week. when i was doing it i lost about 7 pounds every 3 weeks, but this petered off as i got nearer goal. there is no harm in trying, but don't be disappointed if it doesn't happen.

Happy Tuesday Girls, I am sooooo glad that this is a short week, I have been very tired latley. All I want to do is sleep!!! I have WI in on Wednesday and I am a little scared:eek: I have not been for 2 weeks(holidays) we walked ALOT in Vancouver BUT I also ate some not so great food!!!! Also I have been a little lazy since I have been back, like I said earlier all I want to do is sleep:yawn:!! Kirsty I hope that you feel better and that the sore throat doesn't turn into something worse:)
KO good luck with the studying, I always got so stressed out around the end of a semester!!!

a box of milk tray was pushed under my nose and i didn't take a single one. i looked at them, thought about it and decided no (cos i'd much rather have a margarita tonight!).
hooray for me! and if sore throat doesn't improve i may skip the margarita too!

Morning all, I went to bed last night with a HUGE headache...and it is not going away :( . Emma went down for a nap about 15 minutes ago...and I just heard her ...she has already woken up. :( Yesterday I ate a total of 23 pts and my minimum is 24. I can honestly say I could not eat any more. I was so NOT hungry when I went to bed I figured what was the point of forcing food just to reach minimum. Woke up this morning, still not hungry but forced a peice of toast at 2 pts. Tuesdays we usually eat dickie Lee (like KFC) so I am saving for tonight. So glad I am not hungry now. :)

I have arthritis and that is acting up today, and so far it has just been a crappy day. Hopefully it will get better....I have a bunch of friends I meet every tuesday and we just socialize all morning, so I will be leaving shortly.

Oh, one other thing: YOU ladies can NOT have Joey....because He is MINE!! LOL (well at least he was 10 years ago) ;) ;) ;)

(hugs to all) and have a great OP day!

Great job at saying no to the milk things (I am assuming it is some type of chocolate)

Enjoy that drink tonight!

No, we don't really say that in CAlgary.....hee hee hee.

Well, I am so excited, I can hardly contain myself. And my sister Kristin called to inform me that while we were at Platinum Blonde, U2 was drinking at local Irish Pub. Very sad. Very sad indeed. But, this is life.

B/f, not so excited. But, I was going to go home last night and he wanted me to hang out for a bit and nap with him.....it was nice!! Then I did go home to sleep (had no work clothes, so opted to sleep at my place alone) and he drove me to work today again (might have to "prolong" toe pain to keep gettting these nice drives and extra cuddles!!). So I guess the b/f thing is workingout. Also, got phone bill yesterday and there were only 2 one minute calls to the ex. Hurray!! So, this must mean that things are going better.

Kirsty - much sympathy going your way, I have deep pains for you!! Try the honey and tea, worked a bit for me!!!

Steph - hey! Did you watch this hour has 22 min last night? It was the rerun of the season finale...i know, how lame am I? It was funny.... Did you vote for Stockwell Day to change his name to Doris Day? I did...again, how lame. Maybe if you feel like sleeping your body is telling you something. Iknow for me, that when I am tired, like really craving a nap, it usually means I have been abusing my body in some way or are coming down with something.

Kierie - good luck with your studies!! You will miss it when you are done though...I do!! So enjoy it too! May the force be with you!!

Well, saving points for a few beer at the U2 concert....AH, Larry Mullen, babe extrordinaire!!

I liked NKOTB too!!....well, when I was little of course...

Better get to work.

Have a good day!!

Well, I exercised again last night, yah me. But skipped the stretching afterwards since Emma started holloring at me that she was hungry. :)

I am having major difficulties with my hubby lately. We argue all the time since Emma was born. I think it is just the drastic change in our lives, but none the less it is driving me nuts. Little things set us off!! And he has started doing all the crazy quirks he used to do when we first met. UGHHHH OK got that off my chest. This morning the dog pooped all over the floor and I caught her in the act... threw her outside and she decided to run to the neighbors a couple houses away to play. The have the grossest yard. no grass, he just piled chipped up brush all over the huge yard and now verments live in the crud! And he sprays pesticides and weed killer all the time. Our yards are kiddy corner, so it drifts to ours sometimes. I was out gardening while I was PG and he started spraying like mad, I almost killed him.... So the dog is over there and hubby decides to take the longest shower known to man (he has been doing this since Emma was born!) I could not get her back in the house and was ready to shoot her.... OK, that is my frustration today! Sorry for the ramble!!!

On a good note... I thought I ate bad yesterday but ended at the low end of my points. I had the MOST delectible snack last night! I will post it. Hubby LOVED it! I found it on another site yesterday! Also, I made the Angel Food and Pineapple cake last night.. YUMMMMM....

Have a great day all!

10 Years ago...well, 12 or so, I would have taken Donnie in a flash. But,after seeing him in recent flicks, decided No, not for me!!

Has anyone SEEN Joe since then? I don't think I have....

Ah, New Kids.

Belle... About 2 years ago Joe came out with a solo album. He is a good looking adult now! beautiful eyes!! Have fun tonight!

Good morning ladies!

Ok, first of all, it wasn't NKOTB for me, it was Shaun Cassidy, I had his microphone machine (with his pic on it), his album, and some lovely, white, bell-bottoms that had his pic airbrushed on the bell-bottom part. Whoo, hoo!!!! (Did I just date myself?)

Jen ~ Try to relax a bit about the DH, child and dog. I've been there! It is such a big adjustment having a child, and remember, sometimes our DH's feel a bit neglected at first, they were used to being the child, before the child came along!! :) I think my oldest was about a year old, before I finally found my groove, and things seemed to click in the household! :)

Belle ~ Have fun at the U2 concert, I read in the USA Today that they put on a fantastic show!

momof2girls ~ I understand the headache deal, I had another migraine on Sunday, had to pop a Vikadin to help relieve some of the pain. Some days (not many!) I can't eat my minimum, and I know that some say, "oh, give me a break", but on those days, I don't, I don't think it is good to eat when you are not hungry. If your like me, there are days that you eat way more than the minimum, or max for that matter!!!

Kirsty ~ Say no to the chocolate!!! Don't you hate co-workers!?!?!?!

Flaky One ~ I hope you get your energy back, try to relax and stay OP!!

KO ~ Good luck with your studying!

Well, I haven't had a chance to read thru all the posts from yesterday, but I will get thru them!

I am getting my hair cut today, I am needing a new "do", my poofy-80's look went out years ago, time to move on!!

Still busy at work, but it will calm down in a month or so when school is out. I am planning on taking every Friday off this summer, which will be great, I am looking forward to more time with my kids.

It is cold here today, in the 40's. And, it is suppose to rain all week. I wish it would be sunny and even 60 degrees out!! Our mountain bikes are just sitting in the garage because it has rained yesterday, and will continue until Friday. Ahhhh!!

Well, I am feeling more WW refreshed, and have recommitted myself to journalling. I have been pretty lax these last few weeks, and thank goodness, I have maintained, but I still have 4 pounds to lose, so I need to get with it. Also, my water intake, is suffering, I need to regain control of that area too!

Well, better get going, I have to teach a class at 10 a.m.

Check in later! :)

Well, I avoided the evil donuts at work yesterday. I work for a CPA firm and in the US it is tax season. OUr taxes are due April 15th. So this last week of tax season we have treats everwhere. It is like a treat minefield! I am happy tax season is almost over as I am not a CPA (I handle their marketing and public relations) so I have had bursts of busy rather than a steady flow of work.

I think I am on a positive weight loss mode. I was talking with my sister yesterday. We have promised each other that we will be careful over Easter (I can really over do it on the food when I am with my folks). She is trying to lose weight for a friends wedding (althought I think she looks great as she is). HOwever, it will be nice to have someone at home to help me stay on track.

I can not remember who asked about the reserection cookies, but they went ok. I made some at home before church so we did not have the issue of them not working at church. The kids did not even notice that the cookies just were "done." These cookies would be very cool to do at home with kids. anyway, next year I think I will break the ages up a little as there were too many kids for them to really be hands-on.

Kirsty, I am sorry that you are not feeling well. Oh, and GREAT JOB on the candy (we all seem to have candy onteh brain lately. Must be due to holiday candy in the store). You are right, WW is about making choices. Oh, could you post the running web address again. I have been running (thank you Ali for the breathing advice, I try to keep that in mind) but need more instruction. What type of shoes did you end up getting? I need new ones for this.

Ali and everyone else who lost, great job!!

Belle: how was U2? I am so jelous as I LOVE them and my hubby WORSHIPS them (being 30 and a bit older than some of you all, U2 was the thing when we were in HS). Anyway, I was unable to get tickets in Chicago as they sold out in like 20min for both shows! Ahh! I hope that they swing back this way at the end of the tour for an outside show. The only time I have seen Bono is when he made a special apperence at a Bowie concert I saw in '90-'91 or so.

Becky: I agree with Kirsty and others that 2.5 may be a bit agressive per week. I would say just focuse on doing things on program and let the weight go as it goes. I find that if I set "total weight down buy this date" goals, I set myself up for disapointment as I tend to lose weight in strange chunks. So instread I try to work on the things I can control. Now, that is for me as I know some have ahd great success in setting weight loss goals.

Steph: Good luck at weigh in. I bet the walking made up for the eating and if not, don't worry and just get back on track.

KO: I hope you are able to get your meds worked out. Sleep is very important (Brenda!)

Brenda: I saw on the Today Show that it may snow where you are. Ah. Oh, I was also thinking about your doggies. I think he may have seperation issues with you gone so much. I bet he grows out of a lot of this, but you may want to have a chat with you vet to see what they say.

Jen: what kind of dress are you making for Emma? How great that you can do that. It will be something to treasure!

Lolly: Has the cake fairy been back lately? Try not to stress about work too much and make sure you are enjoying your time in Spain. Have you heard any more about Kansas?

Kim: You said you are going "back to school?" do I remember that correctly? A seminar class? anyway, just wondering when that starts etc. Sounds cool.

Tonya: What types of bikes did you get? I love to power bike. I think I will try to get a new one this summer.

Sorry that I dont have time to say hey to everyone personnaly. I will try to get back. Have a great day. I will check back.

Thanks everyone, I think that I do just need to get back OP and back into my old routine!!! I have to comment that I too was in love with Joey, I still have posters of him at my mom's house(pretty lame...throw them out!!!) And here is the kicker, b/f packed up some of the videos for the move and at the back of the cabinet are some old NKOTB videos...MGM Dreams, Hangin Tough Tour, Step By Step tour etc.......so he put them in a box and labeled it Steph's New Kids Videos, I'm sure you can imagine I got a few laughs:D It did make me laugh about how obssesed I used to be!!!!!

Hello my girls! Thanks for all of the Grand Cayman advice. I really appreciate it. I think you are right it may be a bit too fast. Anyways, I worked out yesterday even though I didn't get to do aerobcis b/c my boss threw a wrench into my plan. I had to go to an awards presentation to accept a certificate for our agency. So I took off work early and said I had to get home and get ready. I snuck off to the gym and did the elliptical trainer for about 40 min. I also went to the tanning bed  I am not proud of this. I tell myself constantly that I am going to wrinkle prematurely but I couldn't hold off any longer. I am a whitie and sick of it :) So I succumbed to society standards and did it. OK confession over.
LIsa- I am not sure where in Grand Cayman we are staying. I didn't make any of the plans. There is a group of about 20 of us going and I just paid and relaxed. I will have to find out. I cannot beleive that it is only 8 wks away. I cannot wait although I wish I were thinner. I am going to try to not let that bother me though. I just know that the other girls going are going to look great in their b-suits meanwhile I will be attempting to cover my thighs :( Oh well pity party over. I will just do my best with WW till then.

Trish- thanks for the feedback. I think you are right I shouldn't set dates b/c I do get frustrated. I have done it before and It is frustrating. Thanks :)

Brenda- I am not sure which ones I got but they weren't the colored set. Anyways I am going to host a party. I will let you know how it goes :)

Ali- Again your stats astound me! Congrats. Also How long did it take you? I know it is a journey but I am just curious. Jon was always too quiet for me.

Kier-YOu are only getting 4 hrs of sleep! I can't imagine. I hope you get more soon.BTW Joe is definitely mine!! I think it is hysterical that there were so many JOe fans.

Jules-Sounds like you plan to get back on track! YOu can do it! Kick Butt at the gym!

Kirsty-Thanks for the honesty about Grand Cayman. O.k. I just realized that you lost your weight in 4 Months. Is that right? Wow

Steph- Good luck on Wed. Maybe you will be pleasantly surprised.

Angie-I hope your day gets better. I feel for you. I have had some doozies lately.

Belle-I miss school too! Who'd of ever thought? It amazes me. Also I saw Joe on a Say What Karaoke? on MTV recetnly. He looks pretty good

Jen-Sorry about hubby. Men are so confusing and frustrating but we love em so what can you do?!? I hope things get better. I agree with Tonya maybe he feels neglected due to the baby. WHo knows?

Tonya- Congrats on the hair. I love making changes! Also I am having trouble with the water thing too. I am trying to get it in today though.

I went to the Hangin' Tough concert when it came to Oklahoma City and I thought I died and went to heaven!
Tonya: I had a Donnie and Marie microphone when I was little. :) I loved that thing!!
Trish: That's funny! I was watching the Today show and when Willard said "winter storm for the Rockies" I thought of Brenda, too!! Brenda, were your ears burning at 7:00 am this morning???
I had a very interesting evening last night...my best friend since college is having a baby in May...she's a brides "matron" but luckily the wedding is in July...anyways, she's finishing up her childbirth classes. Her husband works nights, so I said, if there is anything I can do, just let me know. Well, she asked if I'd come to her Breastfeeding class with her. hee hee. Needless to say, I was a little uncomfortable at first, but now the urge for children is burning strong again. Hopefully the wedding and getting a new puppy and buying a new house will put the "fire" out for now. It was kind of cool, though. (the class)
Ok, my boss is back from her smoke break so I'll "see" everyone later.
Hi to all!!!

ps..Kirsty: Feel better!! I absolutely hate sore throats!!
Maybe instead of a margarita, you should have a hot toddy! :)

And I don't admit that to many people — that's how I know you gals are my kind of people! Journalists are funny folks ... they tend to stray from the normal and condemn things that "go along with the pack." For instance, I rarely mention that I was a cheerleader in high school, in a sorority in college and no way would I admit liking New Kids. I wasn't fanatic, but I did have all their tapes and I went to a concert while I was living in Germany. And ulp ... I used to like Kirk Cameron when I was about 12.

Steph: How come it's a short week for you?

Trish: I'm not going back to school, but I am taking a one-week seminar at the University of Maryland at the end of the month. I'm looking forward to it.

Speaking of puppies (and many of us do often on this site! :D): One of my dogs, Stella, cut her paw somehow last night — I think there must have been a piece of glass on the ground outside, or a sharp rock — and may have to get stitches! We stopped the bleeding and tried to clean it best we could but it started bleeding again this morning. Poor baby. The vet has to sedate her to get a better look at the foot, so she's there now.

Time to go to lunch with some co-workers. Wish me lucking in staying OP!

Kirsty: Yeah I should start a proper running program. I run and all, but maybe I could do somethings more effectively. I should have some piccies soon, my dad took some this weekend.

Suzanne: yeah raking is good exercise, if we didn't have a foot of snow still on the ground I am sure I'd be doing some yard work.

Trish: That's good that you are planning about being OP over Easter. I am doing the same, though I am fitting in the Cadbury eggs into next week.... Though I am not sure about the Hot Cross Buns.

Tonya and Angie: I occasionally eat below my minimum as well, usually if I am not well... I am not going to stuff myself at 11pm just to make sure I have enough points, these days happen seldom now (probably less than once a month), but they do happen.

Jen: I always skip stretching, I am so bad (I try to remember, but I forget half the time or run out of time).

Belle: yeah Donnie kind of isn't that great anymore, but I think he could make it as an actor, could you believe it was him at the beginning of 'Sixth Sense"?..... I love some of U2's stuff... I know this sounds SOOOOO corny, but I have always wanted the song 'All I Want is You" as my wedding song. That song makes me cry it is so romantic.

Steph: I keep forgetting we have a long weekend coming up, it is ruined for me though with the need for studying for exams.

Kierie: yeah, I am finished school in 2 weeks!!! AHHHHHHHH...... I am moving in 3 weeks!!!!! Wow, I love this stress. Good Luck with the crunch time of your semester.

Bye!

Oh I loved the New Kids, still do! I'm not afraid to admit it. I also like Britney, N'sync, Backstreet. I'm regressing into my teenage years I know but i love that bubble gum stuff! It's fun to workout to!

Anyways, here's my funny story. My SIL told me the other day. Her daughter is into Backstreet now like I was into New Kids so she said that she reminds her of me. She told me once my mother told me that if I said one more thing about New Kids then she would ground me and then my step father told me to shut up. Then she said I stomped into my room sulking and saying "No one understands how much I love the New Kids"

I thought that was classic!!!! My brother use to threaten to rip my tapes apart. Oh he use to complain that I was always blasting them!

Well, I have the greatest hits cd and I think when I get home today I will have to listen to it. I made my friend a tape awhile back and we had so much fun blasting it in the car! Ahhhh....the 80's! or was that early 90's??

Other than that, my boss is getting on my last nerve. She constantly somes into my office to just look over my shoulder. I want to ring her neck!!!

Okay I have Thurs and Fri off so I will try to just deal.

Have a good rest of the day fellow new kids fans!!!

P.S. I also have Joeys solo CD and Jordan's "give it to you" single!!!!

I guess I'm a wacko because I never got into the New Kids :). I did however love Depeche Mode, The Cure, and Poison! Too many funny memories.

I don't have a lot of time today but I wanted to drop in and say Howdy! Congrats to all who are OP. I WI tomorrow, so I hope it goes well. I've been ok this week, but not so good at journaling. I guess some weeks I just like to take a vacation from journaling.

Kim ~ What sorority we're you in? I know what you mean about sterotypes...I'm a techie but I was a dance teamer in HS and in a sorority in college (Alpha Delta Pi). Funny how those work out!

Hope all of ya'll are great. Thanks so much for all of the quitting encouragement. So far, so good!

Kim: I can totally relate...except for the cheerleading and sorority member...too big to be a cheerleader and didn't have enough money to pledge a sorority.
BUT, I loved Kirk Cameron!! I totally plastered my walls with posters of him from Tiger Beat, Bop and other teeny-bopper magazines! Too funny!

Kay: Congrats on being smoke free! That's awesome!
Good luck at WI

I went and walked at lunch, but I didn't have my walking shoes, just some flat white tennis shoes that were made for an accessory, not to wear and now my legs are really cramping. I could only walk for half of the time!
Well, I'd better finish my lunch and get to work.
Have a great afternoon, everyone!
Ciao!

Ladies,

I regret I haven't had a single second to read through the posts. I leave tomorrow for the Gulf Coast and I've been trying to get as much doen here at work as I can before I leave.

To all the losers, congrats. To all the ladies-under-the-weather, get well soon.

I return on Monday and don't weigh in this week (Monday's a state holiday here in Mass). So hopefully not weighing in won't encourage me to go off program.

I'm a little worried about staying OP, but I'm going to make it a priority.

If things slow down later in the day, I'll read through and say hello to everyone.

I just wanted to say by and Happy Easter in case I didn't get a chance. See you all in a week!!

It means 'done' which is what my chapter is. YIPPEE! And I have e-mailed it to my supervisor, so no more twiddling with it. And I mailed the job application too, so that's 2 achievements today. Then I treated myself to an ice cream, lemon cornetto ... it was yummy but made my tummy feel funny, I don't have dairy very often (I'm a soya girl). So now I'm free! HUZZAH!

I wanted to get a digital photo taken to attach here but the camera isn't working, so I'm afraid you will have to wait ... and I am looking GOOD today, blonde hair, tan, oh I'm just in such a happy mood! Becky - I am a tan lover too, but I am scared of sunbeds and I get bored sunbathing. I have just discovered Piz Buin tanning spray and it is FAB! The colour is so natural, and it doesn't streak or smell or anything, plus it lasts for days. Recommended, definitely.

Kirsty, Angie, Steph - feel better soon, HUGS.

Jen - will have to look out some of my favourite recipes for the thread. Cool idea!

Tonya - WOO HOO! New haircut! It will make you feel FAB - have you decided what style you're going for?

Trish - the cake fairy visits every time I eat the cakes ... so far this week she hasn't needed to, but that's only because I have chocolate in the fridge ... I went to see 'Chocolat' on Saturday and all the way home my mouth was watering for dark chocolate. Mm-mm! And I haven't heard about Kansas yet, but they said they'll let everyone know before May 1st, hopefully sooner. Keep your fingers crossed!

NKOTB ... hmm, I wasn't as much of a Blockhead as some of my chums, I loved Bros - Matt, Luke and Craig. Did they ever make it over the Pond? "When will I, will I be famous?"!!! I even took my Bros poster on a youth club canal boat holiday and stuck it to the ceiling above my bed ... EEK! I was a dedicated Brosette.

Hugs to everyone I haven't mentioned, hope your weather gets as nice as ours here!

Lolly

ps:- this time next week I will be waiting for Blokey at the airport! YIPPEE!!!

Not for very long, but they we're so cute! I totally forgot about them until you mentioned it. Good going on the accomlishments. Now I must try to get some in today.

Tonya ~ Have fun with your hair! I went to the salon Thursday and had a complete overhaul (yet another reason to hide the credit card bill from DH this month :)). It was so relaxing and fun. The hair guy cut about 3 inches from my hair and did this layer thing. It looks much more full and bouncy. It also flips up on the ends which is kinda fun. Now I just need to get to the store to buy some highlighting stuff.

Jen ~ I hope things get better with you and your DH. I can imagine that the child adds a completely different element to the marriage. Me and my DH have been bickering some lately too. Maybe its the winter blues coming out? I just try to remember the reasons I love him and dwell on those instead of dwelling on the fact that he does not know how to change a toilet paper roll. Vent here all you need...

Afternoon everyone else!

I hope all that are under the weather feel better soon!
AND Have a good holiday and safe trip Becky!

Suzanne: It was the late 80s ... cuz I graduated from HS in '90.

Kay: I was in Phi Mu. I've actually been considering trying to start up an alumni group in SW Virginia. I thought it would be a good way to meet new people, although it would be quite a chore! And oh yeah, I loved the Cure, Erasure, Depeche Mode, REM ... By the time I was a junior in HS I was on the alternative kick (although I still harbored secret feelings for Jordan). I remember when I flew back from Germany after HS graduation (my Army dad was transferred back to the States), I listened to the Cure's "Disintegration" over and over and over.

Stacey: Believe me, it's hard for me to believe I was a cheerleader! Oh, those 125-lb. days. I was always sturdy though. Even at 5 feet tall, I was a base.

Lolly: I don't think I ever heard of the Bros. The weather IS nice in Virginia. We've hit records for the past few days. Yesterday, at 87, it was supposedly hotter here that in the whole country. Today it's a little cooler, around 80, and we're supposed to get thunderstorms. But I love thunderstorms, so bring it on!

ON ANOTHER SUBJECT: We've talked about corny bands and high school crushes on movie and music stars, now 'fess up. Who likes corny movies and TV shows? My b/f makes fun of me because I watch 90210 reruns in the morning while I'm getting ready for work. I also adore Little House on the Prairie and old Facts of Life episodes! Oh, and Danielle Steele made-for-TV movies. They're dumb, I know, and I argue with the TV half the time, but what a little guilty pleasure!

Well, I didn't do too well for lunch, so i gotta be extra careful rest of the day. I had a Philly chicken sandwich (it had cheese and mushrooms on it) and fries. I did mention I like fries, didn't I? Sigh. And I've been doing so well lately. WI tomorrow ... i should know better!

I better get back to work ...

Hello ladies. I didn’t do so well yesterday. After hearing talk about Snack Wells cookies, I went out and bought the devil’s food ones. I ate 6 yesterday. They are a point apiece and that put me 3 ½ over points for the day. I never got around to doing my sit-ups either. I was up until midnight doing filing b/c I’m a delinquent and haven’t done taxes yet *sigh* That’s a problem b/c I have shows Wed and Thurs night and all day Sat. I’m going to go get the tax program I need today at lunch and maybe I can get it all done tonight without pulling an all nighter?? I have WI tonight and I’m slightly worried b/c I haven’t done as well as I needed to the last 3 days. It’s amazing what difference a couple of days can make on the scale!

Kirsty: Here, catch these throat lozenges. Hope they help! Good job turning down the chocolate! Drink a marg for me will ya?

Belle: Have a blast at the concert!

Jen: It will take you guys awhile to adjust to having Emma! I know that dog problems. Nes got so excited last night that he bit me. He was going for the mini football I had, but it was hard enough to cause a welt and even though you can barely make out a bruise, it’s very sore. We are really going to have to get to business with him. He doesn’t realize how strong he is!

Trish: You sound better! I can tell by the tone of your post. Glad you have your sister to help you out over the holiday weekend. I know you can stay OP!I think we are going to be working on the dog run. We’ll probably end up with Jeff’s parents for one meal seeing as mine are going out of town. We didn’t think our dog had seperation anxiety b/c he goes into his crate voluntarily and even lays in there when we are doing things in the kitchen. I dunno  I know I know, I need to get more sleep. I could see you shaking your finger at me at the beginning of this post :nono:

Stacey: I did hear some ringing this morning, I just thought it was my radio! Yeah, I had to get out long sleeve clothes again. That’s why I never put that stuff away until like June! Then you still need it in the mountains when camping b/c it really cools off at night. It’s supposed to be April showers, not April snow storms!!

Sorry I didn't reply to everyone. My eyes are starting to hurt staring at the screen for so long. My tummy is rumbling again and I want to wait another 1/2 hour to take lunch. Before I can eat I have to run my errands though. Grrrrr.........

Kim - I admit, I cried when 90210 went off the air...I LOVED it, they were the same age as mean and I thought it rocked!!!! I miss it still, every wednesday...SIGH!!!!

I love 90210. I didn't watch the last season. I had no time then however in my opinion the glory days were when Brenda was still on and of course the lovely Dylan. Who if I remember correctly came back. Yah I finally get the channel that has all of the reruns however I am rarely home when they are on. Bummer :(

Also Girls I was wondering if you think the elliptical trainer counts as high or moderate on the points booster. I kind of think high but what do you think?

I need all of the points I can get b/c we had B-day cake at lunch and I am at 24 pts. Which leaves me 2 for the night and whatever exercise points I get. (either 2 or 4)

Well I am signing off for the day b/c I have to run to 2nd job. Isn't life grand
BTW 2 other women at work are doing WW and it has been great to talk to them. One of them is a lifetime member and the other is like me this is her 2nd time back. she is 1 wk into it and I am on wk.4 Anyways we all had cake today so we were laughing at the fact that we need close to 0 pt dinners and we planned them. I am so excited b/c we can make a habit of this. (the planning not the cake eating ;))
Have great days and send up lots of prayer that I will stay OP this evening!

Becky: I would say "high" that eliptical trainer is difficult and it makes you sweat right away. Kind of like Tae Bo.
Hmmm I need to get my tapes from my sister.
Kim: I love Little House on the Prairie! and Facts of Life and Different Strokes and Silver Spoons, and.... Geez, to be young again. I wish my only concerns now were to get my piano practicing finished before The Brady Bunch came on!!
Gotta Go!
ps...Lolly, I'm thinking about tanning for the wedding. I've never done it before and a place here in the city is great for beginners...cross your fingers for a "golden" girl. haha

Nick at Night is Awesome for old 80's sitcoms. I watch Facts of Life (love the 1st season!), Silver Spoons, Different Strokes!!! LOVE EM! And I was a 90210 Fan also. Hubby WILL NOT let me watch the re-runs anymore. FX has them on for 2 hours in a row and hubby is sick of them... Haven't been able to watch them for about 6 months now! I am also a MTV Real World Fan, not sure why tho... maybe the conflict!

I had my Pineapple angel food cake for lunch dessert and now I am eating my chocolate pudding. Usually I skip afternoon snacks... but then I end of starving and wanting to binge. So today I am eating snacks and guzzling water!

OH, and that Blizzard treat I posted is AWESOME! You get a lot too! If you ever need a nice creamy treat to keep you going, try it!

Back to work!!!

Well, Steph, if you're a dork then we're all dorks! :dizzy:

I forgot that some people get Good Friday off as a holiday. Not this newspaper! I haven't been to church in about a month but I'm thinking about going to as sunrise service at this really beautiful outdoor place in the woods. They do the service every year.

Girls, I'm really upset. B/f just called to tell me one of his co-workers got in a car wreck so he has to go into work. He was supposed to have yesterday and today off after having working seven days in a row. It also meant we'd have some time together, which we hadn't had since before I went to Florida two weeks ago. I'm really distressed at this whole work situation. It's really hurting our relationship because we never see each other. I don't know what to do. I was in a pretty good mood today because I had planned to get out a little early so he and I could have another evening together. Last night was nice — we went out for dinner and were planning to go to a movie when Stella cut her paw. So we ended up renting a movie instead. But I guess I only get one nice night every three weeks or so.

Sorry to be such a bummer. I just feel so down now and the handful of M&Ms I just ate didn't even help.

Hang in there Kim.... I can't give you much advice since hubby and I work together. I wish I had free time from him. Maybe that is another reason we are stressing!!!! If your relationship hasn't always been like this, then I am sure your shedules will mellow in a bit! On your night alone, make a little suprise gift for him to show him how much you miss him!

I'm envious of you Eastern Time Zone people, you're already home!
I've got 20 minutes until WI, please oh please let me just maintain! I'm really afraid of a gain, but I'd deserve it if I do gain...I haven't been strict at all!!!! I haven't journaled in what seems like forever.

Ok, who was the Saved by the Bell fan?? I STILL love that show!! (the old ones of course) and I loved following them to college! Does anyone remember the show about a dog called "Boomer"? It was similar to Lassie. I loved that show, too! but it was a long time ago. Like late 70's early 80's.

I'm packing up, it's time for me to sneak out early.
Have a great evening!

I’m just getting caught up. I love the polls. Yesterday I had to put ice cream because as of late I could live off of Schwann’s low fat chocolate yogurt. Normally I would go for a second helping of meat before touching dessert but lately I don’t know.

I was over points the first two days of my week, but on average this week I’ve been under my max. I usually stay at max and lose about 2.5 lbs a week. My aunt started WW with me 3 weeks ago and is doing well, now we have her next door neighbor going with us also, it’s so great to have company at meetings because we live in the sticks and drive 35 miles one way to meeting and I would never go alone. She and I have been walking, it’s so good to have someone to go with.

I don’t have time to post to everyone because BF is home from turkey hunting and I’m going to see him. :)

Ali- That is so great, I can’t wait till I’m that close to goal! I know someone asked you this before but I have about 75-80 lbs to lose and I was also wondering about the skin issue. If it’s not something you want to talk about I understand. But if you don’t mind PM me.

Belle- I love the princess! By the way you are so pretty, I didn’t know about the model thing but am not surprised.

Kay- SIZE 6! SIZE6! I would be excited no thrilled no ecstatic! Also I still love Poison, never was much for NKOTB, but loved Bret Michaels. They have the best greatest hits album.

I love the old Saved by the Bell’s!
