Question Weight training and ww protien recomendations???

While I was at a WW meeting today, one of the members indicated she'd gained weight this past week. Then, she quickly added..."oh, but I am weight training". Then, the leader went over by her (it was a noisy meeting) and I overheard her say something like "of course, you are aware of WW recommendatios for protein when you are weight training". I never heard anything else and the subject was quickly changed.
Now, I am really intrigued.
I am having a significant amount of troulbe chiselling off pounds here. I do use weights, but not huge and heavy ones. What should I be doing as far as protein? Anyone out there that can enlighten me?
Thanks if you can help. I certainly can ask this at my meeting next week, but certainly would love to know if some of you know the answer so I can begin to eat more/less protein to accomodate what I am doing.
Thanks!
Linda
