I am waiting for my book to arrive but wanted to get a head start. Are powerbars and diet soda allowed in Phase I?

I drink Diet Rite soda. It has no caffeine, no sodium and is sweetened with splenda. There are four flavors...cola, white grape, strawberry kiwi and red raspberry. I was a big soda drinker coming into this, but now I drink all water, and maybe one soda a day, if any. Just don't want it anymore, it's too sweet. :-)

Powerbars are generally high in sugar. I'm not aware of any energy bars that are allowed on this diet, particularly in phase 1.

If anyone else has found one that fits, please let us know
