Hello, all, just found this site today and happy to be here. I've been working at getting healthier since January and have focused even more since I found out the state of my knees will require a double replacement- I'm only 43. I've got to manage with these knees for at least 10 more years so have to get some of this weight off. Doing pretty well so far I think, tomorrow is weigh in at doctor so we will see how much I've done in past two weeks...fingers crossed.

Welcome Aimee6009! I am sure you'll love this site as much as we do, it is a very supportive community & full of people who understand (even the knee issue, mine were making a crunching sound from as far back as my early 20's due to my weighing over 300 lbs. according to my doctor). Are you following a particular program? I'm doing calorie counting on Myfitnesspal, I'd love to add you as friend if you're on the site as well.

It's been a good 2 weeks, down another 15 lbs!!! That makes 30 lost so far, I wore shoes today I haven't worn in 2 years.
