I'm BACK!!!

Did anyone miss me? I sure missed all you guys!!

Last Monday night we had a bad storm and lightning came in through my phone line to my computer. My son is so busy right now with the season starting up again, he only got to it today. I need to read and see what's going on the last week and then I'll post to everyone.

I'm so glad to be back. It's terrible not to to able to check in with the Floozies as soon as I get home.

Well, this morning I weighed in on my old scales and they said I had lost 1 pound this week. Everyone that weighs on them has always said they weighed heavy. I bought me some new scales this afternoon....and they weigh me 6 pounds lighter!! :cb: So whatever my beginning weight was....I'm lighter now!!!LOL On the way down and that's the main thing!!

Shelley....My inservice started last Wednesday. This week I'm working in my school, setting up my office and making rosters. :( I have a new principal this year, hopefully things will be much better.

Sherry.....Sorry I bothered you today, I know you are busy, busy!!
It is so boring there all day by myself, just wanted to chat a minute. Nuthin' important! ;) Aren't you glad I invested in some good scales, now maybe they will weigh you right too.

Gayle...WTG on the :nono: No ice cream!! Shelley has me hooked on fudgesicles :lol: I have 1 or 2 everyday! OH BTW....We are putting in an above ground pool with a huge deck. Inground pools costs way too much for us.

Titan Dee.....The 20th is great for me too. Can't wait to meet you. What part of Nashville are you house hunting in?

Carol....I know you missed me. I missed my favorite cheerleader too. LOL WTG on the weight loss!! You are my hero!! :D

Congratulations to all of you who have lost weight this week! You all deserve a big round of applause.

I haven't even weighed this week. My company is using the bathroom where the scales are and I haven't been in that part of the house.

Dan had oral surgery this afternoon to remove the part of his lip that had lost its blood supply. They stitched him up and he looks a lot better. We want to press assault charges but Dan is afraid of the revenge tactics. We'll have to discuss it some more.

Ramona... I'm glad Dan is doing better. I don't blame you for wanting to press charges, those guys were just mean but I understand how Dan feels too. Sending hugs your way. :grouphug:

I bet my desk looks worse then yours! It's pitiful! The teachers aren't suppose to come back until tomorrow but SEVERAL were there today.You wouldn't believe how they drove me crazy today...By asking to see their class list, asking about receipts, money, you name it! Is it still busy for you?

To All the other Floozie's.............

I am SOOOOO tired. Lisa (my daughter in law) should be declared a saint or SUPER MOM (sounds like the perfect Christmas -- t shirt engraved Super Mom) . Kayla (11 yr old granddaughter) had the twins & "big" sissy Asley all day while Lisa's Dad had surgery. They have it down to a science or Springfield politics. It must be illegal for all 3 to be asleep at the same time. But there does not seem to be law that all 3 should cry at the same time. And remember Lisa is pregnant with "Austin Cole Nelson". We're all saying boy!!!!


Debbie, Sherri & everyone near Nashville. I have marked the 20th at 4 o'clock at/near Opry Mills. As far as "where" for the house hunt. There is an area near there that looks good, at least on paper! I'll be picking Debbie & Sherri's brain as far as areas to avoid in Nashville. The Realtor is barred by law from saying alot. Other areas I'm looking at are between Murfreesboro and Nashville and Springfield area, Old Hickory area, and Hermitage area. I'm also primarily looking at some of the new subdivisions. Despite the weather ( I know what Nashville thinks of an inch of snow or more), I would like to be moving in Feb or March of next year. "Austin" (we don't even have the female name) is suppose to arrive the day after Christmas. Although Lisa's family is large, there are few really willing & able to take over for 2-4 days. I've already told Kayla to be ready and Lisa that she needs to have this baby during Christmas break!!

Congrats to all of the losers this week!!!! Carol: I am thrilled for you! I knew you could do it!

This will be short and sweet, I am soooooo tired and am fighting a killer headache. Nothing much happening here, just trying to rest up from all of the special events we worked. I'm still doing voluteer work with Hospice, in fact I had two patients to see last night. I'm still sad over losing my puppy :mad: we haven't had much luck with animals lately. We will be getting our new pup in a few weeks, but I already told Steve that I will feed, water and care for it, but I'm going to try to not get attached to her... so hard when something happens...

Ramona: You poor dear! I could tell you were upset when you said Dan might be safer in Iraq! I am leaning toward Dan's decision of not pressing charges, it's hard to do something like that when you live in a town were everyone knows everybody. I hope Dan is feeling better tonight!

Cheryl: GLAD your back! Did you have fun???

Deb: How's the puter working? Are you ready for school to start? Yummy! Fudgecicles! Have you tried the Health Smart (Blue Bunny) brand? I believe they are 1 point each, sweetened with Splenda.

Shelley: Did you take my advice and lock all of the teachers up in one room?? :lol: Do you have your chicken coop built yet?

Sherry: I haven't touched a paint brush...:( I do my painting in 30 minute increments when time allows. I really want to learn to paint, so I told Steve I am going to just make myself paint a little each week. I bought a couple of painting books, so be prepared to get to view my creations! My main problem is that I want to INSTANTLY paint like Thomas Kinkade!

I'm tired...going off to bed...wishing you all a restful evening and wonderful day tomorrow!

Titan Dee: we were posting at the same time. I hope Lisa's dad gets along ok from the surgery. Yes, there is a law, no more then one baby can be asleep at any certain time! And YES, they all do scream at the same time! I swear I do shift work with the babys...just as soon as one is down, the other is up! Just by chance everyone is down and sleeping at the same time...someone shows up at the door or the phone rings! How's Kayla doing with the instant big sister thing?

Gayle-I personally don't get the Health Smart brand because of the sugar alcohol. I wish I could eat them, but they would do a number on my tummy! The only ones that don't are the Popsicle brand. You can also get away with 2 for 1.5 points!!

Sherry-I am just as swamped. My DD is coming in today to help. At least I have NOTHING to do with class lists!! That's the data entry's job, and she is stressing out completely!!

Titan-I wish I could come to Nashville and visit with all of you! I envy the 3 of you.

I'm getting worried about Dee. She hasn't emailed or posted anywhere. Do you remember if she is taking another vacation? Maybe that's whats up.

I received a few emails from Dee yesterday. Not a personal note, just some stuff forwarded on. I hope she's ok and managing all of the stress. I'm worried that depression is setting in. She's just not her old self. Dee, if your reading this, please post! We care!

Shelley: Yah, sugar alcohol can play a nasty number on the digestive system! I suffer from IBS, so I try to watch it too. I almost do better if I remove all of the treats from the house. I have a problem with portion control and it shows!

Hey Cheryl: You yolk is glowing too...I guess we are just a couple of "hot chicks"!!!!!
No, I have never sold any of my art work. I'm just starting out and still trying to figure out what the heck I'm doing. I have no formal training, just two days of workshop under my belt. Which now, I guess our local Hobby Lobby is closing, so I won't have access to any classes. I told Steve I am just going to make myself do this. I usually never get a painting done because I know it is not good enough and then I get frustrated. The kitty cat I did, basically took 2-3 hours from outline to completion, I did this over the weekend in the afternoons. I would love to be good enough to turn it into a full time job and have a small art studio in my backyard!

If you did that w/no formal training, just a couple of workshop classes, I'd say you're well on your way!!! If you have a local community college, you may be able to enroll in a class there!

Just checking in to let you Dollies know that I am alive and well. We were away for the long weekend. I think that you girls had one last weekend as well. We were out at the lake. Nice and relaxing and no kids. I am not depressed but certainly stressed at times (most of the times that the kids are around). Jay has been at the lake for a week so that was a nice break. I think that he gets home tonight. Dez will leave friday for Toronto. She is now free...she has served her duty of being canned for a month. We will be going to Wefest friday. It is a country festival in Detroit lakes. It is a four hour ride for us. Should be fun. I have been reading the posts daily provided that we are home. Summer is always busy and being stressed I have a hard time to focus on writing a post to everyone.

Ramona sorry to hear about Ben. Glad his operation went well. I am sure you will miss him when he is gone.

Gayle your painting was wonderful! It shows how much talent you have. To bad about your dog. I know that he must have been a part of your family and it is hard to lose a pet.

Ok now that I posted did I scare everyone away except Carol????

Debbie I was going to mention your pool. We have an above ground pool that is dish out for a deep end. Most ag pools have wallls about 4 feet deep but you fill it up to 3.5 feet deep. That is why we added the deep end. We love the pool. We use it almost everyday when it is hot. Buy the best liner that you can afford. You don't need a chlorinator, they tell you it makes it less maintainence. We have one and we find it easier just to throw the chlorine in the skimmer basket. A good solar blanket is important too. Buy the best that you can afford. hope that the little bit of info I gave you will help you.

Well I am off to packing for the WeFest concert. I will post back on monday or tuesday.

My guests left today........YEAH!!! I hate to be that way, but I'm really glad to have my house back to myself. I love them, but I want to be able to put my 'jammies on when I get off work and take life easy. I will never win an award for being the "hostess with the mostess" hahaha

I've been busy getting things ready for my parents' party. This is going to be more work than I thought, but thankfully my brother is fairly involved and helping me with things. It looks like we may have close to 300 people coming. Yikes, I just realized it is only 3 1/2 weeks away! I know it will be fun even if it is a lot of work.

I'm so tired it's indescribable. You wouldn't believe all the work that has to be done to open a school year!

I was thinking today that I was so happy that tomorrow is Friday BUT THEN I remembered that Sat. is a game & I'll be working 10 hours that day too!! :yikes: Oh well, Guess I can rest up Sunday in between laundry & cleaning!! :?:

I had a lot of people ask me this week if I had lost weight.THAT MAKES YOU FEEL GOOD!!! On the way home, I was thinking, This time last year I weighed 191 lbs! That is 21 lbs. lighter this year!!!!!!!! :cp: Kinda makes you wanna SMILE! :D
My goal is 150 so maybe this time next year I'll be at it!!

I'm not posting to everyone tonight. I still need to wash dishes & take a shower.

Hi girls!!! We are as busy as ever here and I don't even have the excuse of school starting. I hope all of you working for the school system enjoy getting back into the swing of things. Wishing you a peaceful next few weeks!

Ramona: I love to have people visit, but I also love it when they leave. I feel bad about it, but I'm a homebody, I love my "space" and I guess I'm even kind of a loner. I prefer "my time" compared to feeling that I must be ready to entertain. How's Dan today?

Deb: When are you going to be getting your new pool? I bet you will just love it! I prefer the above ground with a deck compared to the underground ones. They just look nicer to me.

Gayle... The pool has been on hold for the last couple of weeks because we weren't sure where the drain field lines are in our back yard. But...I got a letter from the county environmentist today and it looks like they are atleast 75 feet from our back porch. More than enough move for the pool and deck. :) Guess the pool is ON again, I'm excited too.

Wow-I have sure missed you girls!! I have been Netless for 2 days. It finally got back up today. School has been absolutely bananas. Oh, and now the principal has decided that we can't wear capris. That's all I bought over the summer. I told her that and her response was I'll bring you some of my pants to wear. She thinks we are the same size. There is no way her tiny pants are going to fit me! Now I'll just feel worse when the pants are tight!

Dee-I'm soooo glad you are okay! Little did we know you were having another one of your MANY vacations!!

Gayle-I am still running after work in the heat of the day. However, I have been walking more. I'm beginning to think I am using the heat as an excuse to take more walking breaks, though.

I haven't been able to run much this week because of work. Tomorrow is the open house. I have to go there and work it after I go to Patty's open house. It's going to be a busy day again.
