I started at 28 per day when I was 182, then dropped to 27 per day in the 170s, now I'm at 26 per day in the 160's... I guess it's a point per 10 pounds?
As for your question, I believe that is correct: you can eat anything you want as long as you stick to the plan. I have lost an average of 1 pound per week (almost 20 lbs so far!) while sticking to the plan and have not done one drop of exercise... but I sure have eaten my pizza
Just make sure you are very honest with your tracking. There were times when I'd sprinkle on a little extra cheese or something without tracking... thinking nobody would know.. but my scale knew! Now I make sure to track
everything. Get a flat scales and measuring cups, that should pretty much cover anything you'll need to measure. Good luck!
