Default BM question--concerned

Sorry for the grossness so early. Day 2 of IP. Noticed last night that I had some loose stools. Continued this morning, but also noticed today that there were some bloody, mucousy clumps. NEVER ever have had anything like this before. Have call in to coach and will call PCP later, but has this happened to anyone else?

I am not on IP but I do eat a lot of protein. More than anyone on IP, that is for sure. Loose, mucousy...I have those. Bloody, on the other hand, is not usual. I would get that checked - especially if you are seeing bright red in your stools not just "with the wipe". It could be something simple like haemorrhoids but I would talk to a doctor and not a coach!

Have you been taking antibiotics? You should call and talk to your doctor.

So, just as an FYI to anyone else, my digestive troubles have ended. The blood was a one-off, and my doctor said I may have just irritated internal lining. All is well now!

Happy for you! Nothing like getting freaked out when you've got other stuff to deal with, lol. Back to 'normal' now...
