Welcome to the newest segment of 10 Days In The Life Boat.
This is not a "challenge" but a place for accountability to ourselves and support from our fellow rowers. So, what is your plan for this 10 day segment?
Grab an oar and join us doing our best to not fall out of the boat and and get wet. We need to meet our goals to stay dry.
1 - Ask myself "why" I'm thinking about eating something I shouldn't be.
1A - Would I be proud to track it if I ate it?
1B - Is it healthy or just junk I'm eating to make me "feel better"?
1C - Would I eat it if I thought someone was watching?
1D - Was I able to find something not edible to use as a replacement if needed?
2: Try to lower the amount of carbs and add more protein.
Thanks for starting the new thread Judy.
I did well on the last leg except for the last two days. I got wet but stayed in the boat.
My goals for this leg are:
No gluten
No sugar
Drink my water
Take my vitamins
Exercise
Floss
Eat only between 8am and 5 pm.
I'm in. Both days have been dry so far. Today should be dry also. Unless a dessert at church calls my name.
My goals no soft drinks at all.
64+ ounces of water. 1200-1500 calories a day.
I hope there's room for one more in your lifeboat? I usually post in the chat thread - *waving* to Ubee.
I'm still slightly damp from a carb binge (our wedding anniversary so we went out for dinner), but I'm drying out, & determined not to tip out again!
Judy, Ubee, sounds like you're doing well. I've been splashing around in the water.
Welcome, shines girl! We have a very large life boat... always room.
It's time for maintenance to end and downward movement to begin. I am going to stay in this boat today. That means: 1. Stay within points, 2. walk outside at least once for at least 10 minutes, 3. avoid sitting longer than half an hour without getting up.
I stayed dry yesterday!!!!
Gained 0.2 lbs this week. Should have worn lighter weight socks to WW.
Welcome Shines Girl. Grab an oar. We keep warm towels always ready in case of splashes and we are all really good at tossing out the life ring and hauling you back in if you fall in.
