Hi, I'm new here.
Hi there!
I am 25, a college student, and 230 pounds. I've had problems with weight loss since began school a year ago. Between work and my classes my days are between 12 to 18 hours long, depending on the semester, and my weekends are eaten up with housework and studying. I don't have time to leave the house to exercise regularly. My diet is also lacking; I am a celiac from one parent and allergic to dairy from the other (and we're not talking some thing that a lactose pill can fix, we're talking an anaphylactic response). So I cook my own food.
What I would like to see/hear about/learn from this community are things like at home exercise I can do (I live on the second floor so nothing that would require heavy footfalls), better recipes, and some of the science behind the body's storage of fat.
I look forward to talking with the people here and hopefully making some friends!
