New to forum, not new to dieting
I've been dieting and trying to lose weight for 1.5 yrs, and I am always looking for new ways to motivate myself. Found this forum today while googling something, and Im giving it a try. I used to be a myfitnesspal community member, but that style of dieting wasnt working for me so I eventually stopped visiting the forums.
My diet - general healthy eating. Water all the time, salads often, trying to eat smaller portions when I can control my eating. I might start cutting back on the sugar because recently sweets are making me feel ill.
My reasons - Health! I spent many years stressed and sick and have developed more health problems than a 20-something should experience. Since cleaning up my diet, my health has improved dramatically, and I hope to continue that.
Secondary reason - Image. General body image and how clothes fit, but also I have met someone who is getting serious, and that means a wedding might one day be in the picture. I figure if I can get control of my weight now, I'll have less to lose for wedding day.
