I've started a new job, and didn't introduce fruit yet, and stopped loosing. Very discouraged, thinking about that Jorge Curse diet...very frustrated.

How long have you been on your current plan? How long has it been since you lost weight? People, women especially, don't lose weight in a linear fashion. There have been a LOT of ups and downs in my journey.

The one thing I know to be true... if you stick to plan, ANY PLAN, and don't give up... you WILL be successful ;).

Hang in there!

I agree with Val. If you are following SB why don't you post your menu maybe you just need a little adjustment. Some (not me) don't eat enough and their body switches from losing weight to starvation mode. Also the stress of changing jobs might hinder your loss too. Keep us posted and be proud of what you have lost already.

Often when this happens to me it's because I "forget" the other components of the SB diet besides no bread/pasta/fruit. I go over the recommended amounts of nuts (big one for me), or dairy, or use full fat dairy instead of low fat. I have to remind myself to follow all aspects of the plan and get back on track. Not saying for sure this is what happening to you, just another idea :)

Thanks for all your responses! I think it does need a tweek. I've been doing it @ 4 wks. last week was my first week at new job, so it might and I didn't workout. Started back today with that . Basic Meals:
B- hb eggs (2) and 1 cup cherry tomatoes
s- peanuts @ 15 to 20
L- some kind of veggies, ususally sugar snap peas or a salad, just less than 1 can tuna with 1 (regular) tsp lite mayo and chopped veggies, or ham/turkey and a sf jello
s- lite riccota with sugarless cocoa and splenda (moose) or sf pudding or swiss or cheddar (2 slices)
d- protein (fish or chix), more veggies, followed by a sf fudgical
I might be getting carried away with the sf snacks....I stick to water but I do drink kroger brand flavored water (with spenda) 0 cals but only about 4-6 fl oz day. I do have lite salad dressing on my salads and the mayo in the tuna 2x wk.that's extra fats. plus the cheese...i guess i can't do that. :(
Wd love some suggestions. Thx so much girls :)

Has it just been the one week that you haven't lost weight? If so there is nothing unusual about that, on any plan.

Also, if it is your time of the month, that can also stall weight loss or even gain weight, as the female body tends to retain water during this time.

You're eating a lot of processed foods... My body likes to lock up if I give it too many chemicals to play with. I try to avoid all the frankenfoods. Maybe cut them out for a week and see what happens.

I agree with Lindsey, it's not unusual to have a week where you don't lose. And I absolutely stall when I'm having my period. Also, I can imagine your stess level with starting a new job can stall things.

Thanks again guys! Yeah, I'm actually new to SF processed foods but thought that would help me get through at least in the beginning. So I will cut that out and yes the stress cd be it too. I actually don't get that time of the month anymore, one good thing from a hysterectomy. Thanks, I'll give an update in a week or so.

Man I'm going cold turkey for the most part (except for a tiny bit of sweet and low with a half pump of creamer in my breakfast cofffe - 1 cup) and it was hard but day 3 I am feeling good :)

My weight is starting to go down once again. :D :carrot:

I have cut out the sugar free pudding and jello, and workout more and eat much better.

bkfst - egg and veggie mini quiche and 1/2 cup blueberries
and about an hour later coffee with trivia and skim milk
snack - cut up veggies and laughing cow wedge
lunch - salad with lite Italian dressing and tuna or salmon on top or low sugar ham or turkey rolls with the salad
or 2 x week - SB meal replacement bar and water
dinner - SB baked beans or grilled chicken and veggies and 2 times a week I had a HALF of a yam.
and it's peach season so I have a peach for dessert.
I am deathly afraid to eat too many carbs, so I'm going very slow with reintroducing them back in my life.
