Weight Loss Support - Do you think this Visualizer gives a good estimate of what you look like shape wise?

It's a BMI visualizer. Not exactly accurate but a good estimate? Try putting in your stats and post back whether or not the image is a good estimate of what shape you are in.

I would say mines pretty close except a little less in the boobage area that can probably be moved down to the gut.

But overall I was pretty impressed.

Oh good! Thanks for the reply! I thought it was very close too! I keep on going to that site lol

05-23-2013, 05:25 PM
I think the overall size is about right, but I have a completely different shape than that.

05-23-2013, 05:30 PM
Yea, like Gordongirl said- overall size is about right but I have a totally different shape due to being very bottom heavy/pear-sized and have a fat pocket or two leftover on the outside of my thighs/legs.

Very cool website, but mine wasn't accurate. I have huge boobs and it doesn't take that into account

Like others said, the size was about right, but the distribution was all wrong. If only I carried my weight that proportionately haha. It'd be more accurate if it pushed the weight down to the hips/thighs and nipped in the waist.

I wish it had an additional setting for body types. I'm an apple; my stomach is much bigger proportionally, and my legs are much smaller. Then there's the whole boobs thing.

Still pretty cool to check out! I'm kinda surprised on how chunky the figure looks at my goal weight though . . .

05-23-2013, 06:38 PM
Mine was basically spot on, except I had a bit larger upper arms. Luckily I'm proportionate like that. I dragged it down to my goal weight, and if that's accurate I might want to lower my goal weight a bit. But we shall see. Thanks for posting, pretty cool!

05-23-2013, 06:41 PM
Yup, size is pretty close, distributed differently though.

Mine was nowhere close. I have NO junk in the trunk, much, MUCH bigger boobs, and a double stomach. If I looked like that model in real life, I wouldn't be getting a tummy tuck and boob lift in 2 weeks!

05-23-2013, 07:52 PM
That app makes me larger, I look closer to when I punch in 120. People are usually shocked when I say I weigh 140ish. Luck I guess.

I am one of the fortunates who was fat all over and lost evenly all over. I think it's very accurate for me. My first reaction, however, was, "Hey, I'm thinner than that now!" Then the intelligent part of my brain kicked in and said, "No you aren't! Thinking you're smaller than you actually are is what let you get to 255 in the first place."

That's a really cool site.

Pretty cool!

I'd say it was close to what I think my silhouette is, except that my chest is considerably larger.

05-23-2013, 08:58 PM
Yea at 5'6" and around 156-160 depending, it's accurate except i'm slimmer in the arms and more hip bones (my age though counts in at 51) and it of course doesn't show the saggy baggy loose skin tummy but i think overall it's accurate however i CHAFE at 24.2 % BMI skirting the edge of "overweight" which i clearly am not!

05-23-2013, 10:02 PM
It's pretty accurate for my body type.

05-23-2013, 10:07 PM
Not even close for me. The model looks so heavy through the midsection and I have a 29" waist! I also don't have super large breasts (34D)--my butt is a little bigger and rounder, but my thighs are smaller. I must have really dense bones? I'm in good shape but I wouldn't say *great.* I even bugged the boyfriend for his (frequently TOO honest) input, and I look more like the model around 23 BMI than 26.

Although, I notice the thighs on the model don't seem to touch until you get to obese, and mine do.

05-24-2013, 01:11 AM
This was pretty close to me. I'm pretty evenly proportionate.

Have you guys tried this one: http://bodyvisualizer.com/
It's a lot more personalized to your shape

05-24-2013, 05:26 PM
Yeah, my boobs are waaaaayyy to small on this one. Kind of cool to slide it and see the changes though

05-24-2013, 08:17 PM
Too thick all over. I'm not super muscular, but lean enough that my BMI is higher than what someone would guess based upon my figure.

05-25-2013, 06:18 AM
Both of the ones linked are too thick to accurately represent me. The second one I was surprised about because you give your measurements but was still all wrong. Really neat idea that's fun to play with, though.

05-25-2013, 09:25 AM
I thought it was pretty accurate. I bookmarked it so I can keep track because my perception of what thin should look like has me weighing around 100 lbs. NOT going to happen. :D

05-25-2013, 09:31 AM
Not accurate for me, I've been doing heavy lifting for many years AND I don't have her boobs eitehr :( LOL
