Wolfgirl
I used to daydream all the time and I still do. I have Bipolar also and it can be difficult to deal with, I agree.
I have found writing to be very helpful throughout my life. It helps me get my ideas out on paper or on a computer, such as keeping a diary where I can get write out what I am feeling and sometimes no one has to see it, just me.
Maybe just write about anything thought that comes into your mind. If you don't want to write, then I suggest writing about that! Let yourself view writing as a release, and let the pen or pencil do the work that puts your thoughts through to to the paper.
I know it is difficult to have Bipolar and I used to daydream so much that I was tested for ADD and ADHD. I do have aspects of it and these diagnoses are challenging but I won't give up and neither should you!
Feel free to private message me if you like
Also, I want to suggest a book called Slices of Life by Cheryl Stahle. It has writing exercises and is fun! I met Cheryl and her advice to me about writing is when you don't know what to write, just write!
