I didn't really know where to write this but basically a few days ago I started spotting very lightly this time , it was a light pink colour (usually it'll be bright red) so I assumed that it was my time of the month I put a pad on and everything and a few hours later there was nothing . Even the day after no spotting or blood at all . This happened to me about a month ago , the first time it happened I was spotting for a week , then a week later my menstrual flow was back to normal for a week as usual . Is this normal as you start exercising and eating healthier foods ?
exercising caused my period to come early the first month.
Did you try taking a pregnancy test if there is a possibility you could be pregnant?
I haven't had sex in 3 years lol so not a possibility . My problem is it comes and goes on and off . The first time it came , I had nothing during the night , then during the day it would start up again .
Sometimes i'll spot for three days before getting my full blown TOM and then spot at the end of it. It's pretty annoying but it'd normal for me. It could be the change within your body. Maybe see your doctor if you're really worried about.
Have you changed any meds? This can include vitties as well. If it continues, see someone. Your flow may be readjusting itself. That happens.
How old are you?
How have you changed your diet?
How much are you exercising compared with 6 months ago?
All this can make a difference.
When was your last pap?
I am 20 years old , I've been eating mainly lean meats , fruits and vegetables. Whereas 6 months ago I was eating refined sugars and sweets and junky foods Pizza , fries , burgers , cookies , chips . I exercise everyday for 60 minutes usually compared to 6 months ago . I had a pap a few months ago ...
I wouldn't worry too much about it, our bodies are so weird esp. when we are dieting and exercising.
The only thing I would suggest is tracking on a calendar/chart/phone, wherever, a daily log of what is happening.
When I went to my doctor after having irregular spotting, I didn't have any info except to say I was spotting. So then I started tracking for 3 months and went back. It would have been so much easier if I had the more detailed info for her when I went to the first appointment (even if it wasn't 3 months worth).
My first week on this diet I spotted then got my TOM a week early. My coach said it could be that the hormones that are stored in our fat cells get released into our system as we detox and lose the weight. That is also why back up birth control is recommended as well , b/c pill etc may be altered. If it continues maybe a visit to your gyno? I would think its just changes in your body due to weight loss. Good luck and congrats on your new healthy lifestyle!

Thanks everyone I've booked an appointment to see my doctor again , it's going to be a long wait but it'll be worth having an answer about whats going on with my body .
