What's your weirdest find that you think everyone should try?
Last night I had hulled barley and think I fell in love.
I tried Chia seeds this week.
I'm hunting for Teff (sold out at my local health store.)
What else is there to try? I'm a foodie and love discovering new things!

Snapea Crisps - Baked & Low Calorie. Found near salad toppings.
Wasa Crisps - Near crackers. I eat them with yellow mustard or spreadable cheese

I don't know if this is "weird", per se, but it was new and different to me.
Two of my coworkers are Pakistani. They often bring in home cooked meals and offer to let me try. Once they knew I liked the things they cook, they started bringing in more things for me to try. There are a few things that I found to be really good.
The first thing was a recipe using Chinese bitter melon. It was sauteed with onion and some lentils. I don't know how she made it, but it was good. It seemed kinda hard to make, because apparently working with bitter melon isn't easy, so I probably won't be trying to make it.
Then the other day they brought in something called "Haleem" -- which is a like a stew or porridge made with various grains, beans, and pulses - including Bulgar wheat, lentils, yellow split peas and legumes that I have never heard of, like split mung and skinless urd. A mix of various spices - including cumin, turmeric, cardamom, coriander, garlic, chilis, garlic, pepper, etc. is added to give it flavor. After it cooks (usually along with some meat), they take a hand-held immersion blender and make in into a smooth porridge-like consistency. It was so good. This I will make some day.

I like bitter melon, I've had it in a chinese restaurant but many people do call it an acquired taste.

If you can find them.... Quejos! Absolutely delicious. I can get them only at my one health food store because the owners travel to Canada and bring them back.

The Quejos are absolutely delicious... especially toasted! I don't see the tropical ones listed on the site but they have pineapple and some other fruit.. forgot what.. baked into them. I love them with freshly ground almond butter on them!! I also am not usually a big fan of jalapeno but these are actually my favorite Quejos!
Ah if you click on the order page the Tropical Treat ones are listed to order. And I just read on their "Story" page that they do not have sugar. Ah I found it says they contain "dried fruit, pineapple juice, coconut milk and lots of carrots."
From their site: Quejos basic ingredients: "manioc powder, water, parmesan and cheddar cheese, egg white, evaporated milk, non-gmo non-hydrogenated canola oil, butter, salt"
Not a chemical or artificial ingredient to be found!!
