Default correct amounts

for a 1200 cal. diet, how much sodium do you think is right? My dr is always telling me to also keep my carbs around 140. but doesn't say about much bout my sodium. he of course says that i need to eat 1400 calories, but have a hard time getting to 1200 most days lately. but i am very curious about the sodium amount. tia

Mfp has me set at 2500 but I aim for under 2000, I am supposed to be at 1200 cals 2. American heart association recommends under 2000. I think once u hit 50 it should be a max of 1500, I think because I am always on my father in law about his obsession of cup o noodles.
