Default Appetite expanded after Christmas feast

For the last little while, I have felt satisfied when I was on plan, that is, not hungry. Yesterday I ate alot, though not as much as I could have eaten in the past. Today I am back on plan and hungry! Anyone else?

i dont feel hungrier but im home and not busy, which for me translates into wanting to eat more...plus there are yummy leftovers in the kitchen...i did eat some, and recorded the calories...and luckily the leftovers are mostly eaten by now

i think if i was at work and busy, i wouldnt be so "hungry " today

Maybe the food you ate yesterday boosted your metabolism? And now you can eat more without gaining pounds. haha I know that's not very likely but we should always think on the bright side

Did you eat a good deal of carbs and sugar? Those tend to increase hunger for some people.

What Vex said...its most likely carb related. Once you eat them, you crave them!

I went a little more off plan than I planned for Christmas. Yesterday ( the day after Christmas) was a bit hard to keep on track. I was good aside from a small hand full of candied almonds that I nibbled. Today is a new day with new challenges. I am starting fresh. Today I have a wedding with cake to avoid.

Well that makes sense. I hope it doesn't take long to balance out.

I knew that I would enjoy myself on Christmas Eve and Christmas. In the past 5 months, I have had some "cheat" meals for special occasions, Thanksgiving, anniversary , etc. It never felt difficult the next day to hop back on my WW plan. Although I am right back on my WW plan, it feels difficult and I am craving food that I have not craved in months. It must be a carb/sugar thing. I think it also has to due with having two cheat DAYS versus a cheat meal. Oh well, good thing Christmas only happens once a year! LOL!
