Menopausal munchies
I'm hitting menopause now. Skipped periods for a few months, but still have occasional cramps and screaming ovaries (lasts about two weeks). Insomnia at night and extreme fatigue some days. I workout in the mornings and then I'm worthless for the rest of the day. I go to work but don't really get anything done. I own my own business and I'm too tired to take on new clients.
All this creates anxiety that is rising. And when that starts happening, I start nibbling through my days again. I've regained about 10 lbs. That freaks me out. Not really sure what I can do. I really haven't been eating like this for a few years.
Does any of this sound familiar to you? If so, what are you doing to manage the munchies?
