Exclamation 800 at lunch!!! YIKES!

OK so I count calories religiously by using my fitbit app and I wear my fitbit 24 hours per day (minus shower time). So yesterday, for the FIRST TIME in MONTHS I had an uncontrollable urge(?) to eat anything in sight, more so sweet/salty...to the point that I drank a glass of water didnt help, walked away from the kitchen, didnt help, went outside...didnt help, took a walk, talked on the phone, went on the computer nothing helped...I even went back to work...this urge was in my head...I waited over an hour and couldnt get it out of my thoughts. This is weird for me. I caved and ended up eating about 800 calories at lunch time!
I even still had my 100 calorie mid afternoon snack, but stayed very in control at dinner and even today I am right on for my calories and all healthy food....but WOW, I have no idea what happened. I doubled my water intake today because I know that my sodium level has got to be SKY HIGH today. The only thing I noticed different yesterday then every other day is that I missed my morning protein shake...other than that it was a total "typical" day. Any thoughts?

Lol... I know how you feel; however, if you work it off you will not feel so bad. I have had days I eat 1000 calories and I felt so bad! But I worked it off and felt better. I have notice, even if I eat those 1000 calories I still lost weight.

Sometimes when I eat like that it is because I am not eating enough. If that is the case, upping my calories for afew days usually gets me back to where I need to be. Also, raging PMS does that, too. But it subsides after the hormone peak, and I am good to go. I sometimes notice that if I haven't budged on the scale in awhile and my calories are low, eating extra sometimes jumpstarts it.

800 cals at lunch doesn't sound like such a huge indulgence to me. Forget about it and carry on!

It wouldn't be so bad but it was 800 pure and utter junk food calories...lol. I'm past it big time..today my head is back on and not even the thought of junk food or nit even a single craving...it was just such a weird feeling....I wonder if it isn't because I was low on protein and in the middle of an insane allergy attack (they usually make me ravenous). I thankfully don't have PMS, or any of those monthly "fun times" that women get to endure....I haven't for 18 years...yay me...lol

Well to be honest i eat 500-600 a day. I have just up my calories to 1,650 a day! However, I know I will not eat that much because I'm a picky eater. Also counting calories has really changed my eating habits.
