Default Uh-Oh...drawers are falling

OFF ME! woohoo! I realized Friday at work I can no longer wear a certain pair of capri's because they are at least 5" too big for me and if I am not careful they will fall off me! WOW! I am so happy! Then I found another pair of shorts I hadn't worn in 2 years because they were too tight..and tried them on. They will be on the same path within 3 or 4 weeks too! I am so pleased with this result...but I just don't want to buy more pants until i am further along. I have so far to go, but I don't want to waste (or waist heeehee) more funds on short lived clothes. And the only ones the 2nd hand stores here have are polyester like my Mom used to wear...and that will NOT happen.

Congrats...this is happening to me also. I don't have the money to buy new clothes and the thrift stores here have only had one pair in my size so far...so I have been wearing my old shorts. Well, yesterday my shorts fell off of me...lol. Poor friend of my youngest got a little peep show. Good luck! Hopefully no one will see your "undies"...lol.

If they are jeans, you can cut two small slits on the inside of the waistband (one layer of fabric only and do not go beyond the lines of stitching) on both sides of the fly, slide some elastic all the way through, and secure it to each end. I used big buttons. Then you can tighten the elastic as needed and make the jeans last longer. My original jeans were a 32 and I am now in a 26.

Good luck and congrats!
