Default ONE YEAR OF MAINTENANCE!!! i did it!

March 6th was the one year anniversary of reaching my goal weight. Somehow I spaced out on the actual day. This feels like a big milestone, and I'm very excited about it. I'll post pics shortly. :-D

Honestly, this is much more of an accomplishment than losing weight. Congratulations, and may there be many more years of maintenance your way!

Congratulations & thanks so much for posting! I love seeing threads like this (gives me hope that it CAN be done despite the statistics on the rarity of maintaining a weight loss).

A big accomplishment! You can be very proud of yourself.

I myself have 7.5 months to go before I reach the 1-year mark. My goal is to prove a certain naysayer on another board wrong. (She predicts I will gain back the weight I lost because I'm not eating enough. According to her, I should be eating 2,500 calories per day rather than 2,000. Um, I don't think so. I'm only moderately active and all the calculators give me a maintenance figure of about 2,000 calories per day, give or take a few.)
