Default RAVE: La Tortilla Factory Soft Wraps

I'm a adept home cook. When not attempting to lose weight, I do nearly everything from scratch- including tortillas, muffins, breads. So many of the reduced calorie options taste like garbage to me.

But I needed a convenience product, since I'm back working full time AND counting calories. I tried the Smart & Delicious Soft Wraps, the EVOO flavor. They are actually large- burrito tortilla sized, and packed with fiber.

That is something I'm not great at- upping the fiber content of my baked goods. I can always taste it and changes the texture. Anyway, these wraps are good. I wouldn't eat them plain, like you can a fresh tortilla just off the comal- they are a more of a blank slate, that doesn't detract from the fillings.

I use them for turkey & romaine wraps, egg & pepper breakfast/brunch burritos, and even quesadillas. They taste good but are performing GREAT. 90 calories (for the EVOO flavor, haven't tried others yet,) 12 grams of fiber (!!) and 8 grams of protein. I don't count fat grams but I do recall those being quite low.

Anyway, if you haven't tried them, do!
