Default Introduction!

Hi,
I'm a college student and have had struggles with my body image/weight since freshmen year of high school. I will gain 40lbs. and then loose it all. I can't keep it off and it seems to always be connected with stress. The more depressed/stressed I am-the more I eat. I've never gone on a forum or anything like this before but I'm desperate. I need help. I feel lonely and unattractive. When I was 20 lbs. lighter (just a few months ago) I felt SO much better about myself. I have started to see someone to help deal with my anxiety but still....

so, here I go- I want to change. for good. I need help and I need support and I'm hoping this is the place to help make positive change.

Much love,
chocolateluv

Hey chocolateluv,

Good to hear that Im not the only one whose weight fluctuates depending on when assessment is due! I'm super new here as well, and joined much for the same reasons.

I started exercising about three weeks ago (but had been dieting for a while before then, with only minimal effect) and I found that the combination has made be both stress less and feel that I can accomplish more. Sounds cliched, and I guess it is. Its also true.

Looking forward to seeing you around

Default How do you do it?

How do you keep up with dieting and exercise? I get so tired I have no energy so I just eat a ton of sugar to have energy. It was horrible-yesterday instead of going to yoga I just ate a lot of chocolate, pasta, cookies. yikes!
I have NO discipline. how do you?

Hello chocolateluv.
And welcome to the forum . I think you will get all the advice and support that you need and more here.
You are in the beginning stage of losing weight. You've done it before so I am POSITIVE you can do it again. Just take it one step at the time. If you fall off the wagon, don't beat yourself up over it. It is ooo-kaaaay. We all fall off the wagon once in a while. It is normal . Just remember, be happy and never give up! I believe in you.
