Default Here I go again.......

I'm re-starting WW for what will probably be the 15th time. I had great success with it after the birth of my second child (who is now 11!) I now weigh the same as when I was pregnant with him, which is pretty scary. Anyone out there a stopper and starter like me? Anyone been there and figured out a way to really buckle down and get this done? I'm 40 and getting really tired of avoiding photos with friends, not being able to grab a size 10 off the rack, and just feeling like my personality doesn't match with my body!! I believe in WW because it worked before!

Welcome back to using WW =)

I think you'll find there are plenty of us around who've yo-yo'd. All over 3FC!

We're making this time different. There's no option to quit. There is no "end". This is it. Healthy, sustainable changes. Realistic ideas. We're stickin' to it, and you can, too!

I like that!! Good news also...my husband is joining with me! He only needs to lose 10-15 pounds but he wants to learn how to make better choices and also to understand the program so he can be a better support for me! This should make it a completely different experience...so excited for what I hope is finally my time to get to goal!!!

I think this is my 3rd or 4th time on WW, so yes, we definitely all understand where you're coming from

And having a supportive family is SO important for success!!

Yes! I really have no idea how many times I started and stopped. But the "final" start resulted in a 100 lb. loss that I've been maintaining for six years next month. For me it was the spectre of turning 50 and not wanting to spend my 50s the way I spent my 40s. Glad you're thinking about it a decade earlier than me.

I'm right there with you Misty!!! My husband also wants to lose some weight so he is doing this with me. It really helps me stay accountable to the plan since he kind of knows how this works.

I am also from Central Illinois. The Peoria area. Where are you from?

Misty, I totally understand. I stopped and this is my second go at WW. I'm also going to be 40 in May next year, and I would also like to grab a size 10 off the rack!!! Fit at 40! Yay!

clsuits-I'm from Bloomington...not too far! I read and really appreciate everyone's posts. It's so wonderful to feel support out there. The new journey starts tomorrow night at 5:30! My goals are to track, track, track. I'm also going to try to find the time to hop on here and continue reading posts and getting ideas from others. Congrats to all who have found a way to dig deep and lose that weight. I'm gonna be next!!!

Default write it down !

I discovered 3fc and started a blog (fitting in with this diet and fitness malarky) and i seem to be on this site all the time, the blog helped me make sense of it all and although i have never tried ww things seem a lot clearer in my own head, writing it down good or bad helps me tackle things head on . good luck chick !

Well, things are going well! Day 3 and I have arranged my kitchen to make it easy and friendly to measure things. My measuring cups and spoons are left on the counter, as well as my tracker when I am home. I check out blogs when I get home from work each evening and am also journaling myself! My blog is "I can either be fat in one year or thin in one year". I am enjoying the blogging. Feeling great!!

I'm starting ww again. I have stopped and started so many times I can't even count them. But I have had success with ww before when i really put my head and heart into it. Wishing you the best on your journey.
