Default New to this site, not to weight loss

I'm Laura, Im a mom to three boys (5yo, 2yo, and 1 month old) and I have been married for 9 years.

Im sick of being over weight. Im sick of not being able to find clothing I like in my size.

I'm not sure HOW im going to be losing weight. I love weight watchers, and it has worked for me in the past, but I make all my meals from scratch, so figuring out the points is hard.

Welcome to 3FC =)

I'm a fellow Weight Watcher. Actually, I think making your food from scratch gives you a HUGE advantage. You get to decide exactly what and how much goes into each and every meal! That's phenomenal.

Have you considered using Weight Watchers Online or eTools? Perhaps in conjunction with the meetings if you enjoy the meetings?

The online Tools offer a Recipe Builder. And while it might be a little bit of work initially, if you enter in a lot of your more frequently used recipes and meals, you'll be able to adjust the serving sizes and portions easily!

Plus, once they're saved you can share them with others or print them out, etc. It's actually quite neat for a person who likes to cook or bake, but wants to stay Points-conscious.

Regardless of what you decide, stick around! We'd love to help you on your journey!

If you'd rather not spend as much money (it's certainly not an option for everyone), then you can either go with the WW Online subscription which amounts to something like $17 a month, instead of the weekly fees for meetings. But, of course, then you can't go to meetings.

Or, you could try Calorie Counting which is very similar to the Points system. It's free on many sites, convenient, and there are a ton of people who do it.
