In our Sunday paper today was an ad for low carb bread, It was for a name brand (like Aunt Millies or something) What cought my eye was that it stated only 8 Carb per serving.

I thought to myself, it would be great to see more company's that would produce more low carb product's. Maybe then the price's would come down to be a little more reasonable, ya know.

Also I wanted to tell ya, That i think that by uping my protein has helped alot :D I am starting to feel a little differance in my clothes the last few days :D . But i'm going to wait a few more days before i weigh & measure again. It's so close to TOM, I had to look it up because i thought it was getting close & the best part is No cramp's and my boob's are not even sore,
Biggest plus is No pms, No bloating, No afternoon nap's, No med's needed

Thanks

Ah, just a few of the many benefits of low carb. Good for you, Chuckie.
Watch out for that low carb bread. 8 grams takes a big chunk out of your daily allowance if you're on Induction. 8 grams all at once can also trigger carb cravings...at least with me it can. Make sure you have protein with that bread.

My opinion, for what it's worth  I think I would stay away from that bread for a while. Give yourself more time to see how your body is going to react

Chuckie I don't want to be discouraging, but unless you are at your goal weight or something, I'd steer clear of bread for awhile. 8 carbs is alot. I agree with the other post it could snag a carb binge. Just a thought. Judy

I have no intent what so ever to eat it now, 8 carbs is to much of my intake for a day. I was just shocked to see it in the ad as "low carb " in such big letter's. That made my think that "maybe" some of these food companies are starting to wake up to the fact that not everyone is eat's low fat.

The white bread (ewwwwwwwwwww) my family eats has 14 grams per slice, so it is a good chunk less. However, what must it taste like? I don't miss bread so much, but I miss bisquits!! Any recipes for them around here?
