Default ******** (or general prediet fasting) help requested!!!

So I am thinking about starting weight watchers or something, however, before I spend the money there I was considering doing a fast first. I have heard (maybe incorrectly) that before starting any regimen it is a good idea to do a sort of reset on your body first. I know a few people that are raving about this ******** program and I thought the 9 day fast could work well for me. However, has anyone else used this program? Does it actually work? Are there other and potentially better choices out there??

I myself, am no weight loss guru. I actually lately feel like I have gone off the wagon in a big way so I need to slap myself into shape. I am hoping that with a good week or so of none of the junk I am used to I can then get back into eating and start healthy right off the bat. The good things I have read come from the internet (so who knows if it can be trusted at face value) and I have some friends on facebook that are using it. However, I know one of my friends on there has started selling the stuff.... so I don't know if the info I am getting from that avenue is completely unbiased either! Any help any one has is greatly appreciated!

Fasting is not the way to get back on track. It is hard for your body to be deprived of needed nutrients for very long. Pick your program - and WW is not a diet, it is a program of lifestyle changes that result in weight loss and no food is forbidden - and get started.
