One of things that I really like about this community is that everyone is so supportive of each other. I recently read an article that I found to be really inspiring, and I wanted to share it with you all, because I think it's something you would enjoy.
Lexus Mag posted an article about a camp called
First Descents, which was started by a guy named Brad Ludden, a star athlete, and considered to be one of the top kayakers in the world. First Descents is a camp for young adults who also happen to be Cancer patients. It's a free program and has served over 800 young cancer patients. Even Doctors have been amazed at how well some of the patients have responded to this type of alternative therapy. Yes, I do do some work with the Lexus Mag team, but this is a really really awesome story, and a
great cause. It's definitely worth the few minutes it takes to read through it, and I'd love to know what you think about it.
One of my favorite lines from the article is "lean into it and paddle through." What a great mantra for life! Everyone's daily struggles are different, but I think it's a great line to help us get through whatever struggles we're having.
Have a great day, ladies!
