Jess - I swear all of the fresh powder will be gone by the time I get to go again. Sometimes I wish I lived up in the mountains 24/7.

My weekend was really uneventful, aside from working out + losing + staying OP. My room needs organizing, maybe I'll try to get around to that this week lol.

Just got done with a Boudoir shoot! Now, I'm kicking it with baby girl today & I'll get my workout in sometime this afternoon. And I got some banana creme pie yogurt that I'm too excited about - it's just yogurt. But yum!!

getting salmon tonight at dinner so I will be on plan and still have yummy food

however its going to be a late night but I still want to attempt to be at the gym by 7 tomorrow... keep your fingers crossed for me

happy Monday all!

Had a WONDERFUL date night on Saturday! Went to The Melting Pot and The Lion King. Both were awesome!!! Creme Broulee Fondue = "O" in a bowl! COMPLETELY off plan but so totally worth it!! (Pics in the photo thread) I reduced my calories for Friday and yesterday, so everything should work out.

I have been staying between 147 and 148 for a few weeks now and that is getting annoying. But oh well.

haley and stella- Happy Birthdays!!!!!! I love theme parties!

Madison - I love boudoir lol. I've been considering getting a certificate in photography once I finish my web + graphic design degree. I'm just a freelancer though... I would loooove to shoot weddings + portraits. I second Linds, lets see some shots!

Stella - Me too! I've always loved pinups and thought it would be a great gift to myself to get a styled shot done. There's a photography team I found a while ago that does styled shots in Wildwood, NJ - in the old vintage-y section where the Wildwood sign is. They're really cute, I'll find the link for you if you want it.

Haley - Sounds excellent haha spandex :D

I'm right with you girls on the "hurts to move" thing. I really pushed it at the gym today and was sweating more than I have in a long time. My face was BRIGHT red.....and I looked really really attractive ;)

Never heard of the Melting pot but it sounds good.

did nothing but work, homework and working out. Im SO excited my school has a gym i can use for free. I had to give up my last gym membership as i am poor, and this was the highlight of my day.
Plz keeps fingers crossed that i didn't just completely bomb my psychology test today. i freak over tests no matter how hard i study! =/

Stella - They do a shot by the ferris wheel, a shot by the Wildwood sign (near the convention center), some in a retro dinner, and I think some more. So 5 hour energy...kind of ridiculous...I just ran 6 miles in 69 minutes, 30 seconds...I hardly walked, I just had to stop to stretch because my quad started to freeze up, but daaaaaaaaamn.

Did great with calories today. Exercised. Drank 4L of water. I wanna see 177.2 tomorrow...it's doable :)

Stella ~ I'm totally picturing you like a cartoon character running on a treadmill with the legs going out of control!!! LOL

MORE SNOW?!?!?! So, the storm coming in tomorrow into Thursday was just supposed to be about 2 inches total. As of this morning, we're getting between 12-15" now? I have no idea where we're supposed to put another foot of snow on top of the 3 feet we already have!!! This is going to be crazy!!! This will most likely be our 5th snow day in less than 2 weeks!

Madison - Okay, I was wrong. It has as much caffeine as 1 cup of coffee, the rest is Vitamin B.

Chele - I wasn't even that fast. I averaged a 12 minute mile until the last one where I bumped it up to 10...and that's really just because the treadmill was yelling at me to cool down...We're supposed to get a "wintery mix." Ugh.

So I woke up this morning all crackly. Like I really just wanted someone to crack my back. I did 30 minutes on this weird stair master/elliptical hybrid and I'm planning on doing my Kettleball cardio work out later. Hopefully it won't kick my butt as hard as it did last time I did it.

How's everyone doing?

Oh and I've been really hungry today which is annoying me. I feed myself healthy foods, but it is more calories than I want to eat, but if I don't I will be ravenous and eat bad stuff. RAWR! Please go away hunger!

happy Tuesday girls!!

Not much to report here. Did Denise Austin Hot Body Yoga this morning. There are 2 30 minute practices on 1 DVD. The first is a beginners practice, the second is a sculpting one that uses handweights through the majority of it. I did both practices. It was a good workout.

I definitley want to get some professional photos done. I was also thinking of a 40's pin up girl theme. Maybe this summer...

Soreness level is a little better today. I can move my neck more, so that's good. Probably need to take the day off from working out though, which sucks!!! I might try to do a little low impact exercise like the elliptical or something later, we'll see!!

Jess - Swimming really helped me when I was suffering from my first kettleball work out. One of my co-workers (triathlete) said the 0 gravity really does wonders for you, and he was totally right...

Okay, so today is a high maintenence day...

Happy Tuesday!

I was on plan for dinner...missed my workout this morning...it is sooo hard to get out of bed in the morning when its so cold out and someone keeps saying five more minutes

Jazzy- I hope you feel better

Stella- Maintenance is good

I'm on the ball to get rid of the rest of this weight and get to my goal... I'm happy but I'm not finished and I'm afraid to stop now....because I do what we call "I can eat anything I want" its not good haha

This may sound kind of ED-ish...but it works...

When I have days like that, where I just want to eat and eat and eat, I go get a pre-packaged bag of baby spinach and just down it in one sitting. Its like 7 calories per cup of spinach, its amazing for you, and it is so totally filling.

Is it binging? Sort of...does it put my weight loss efforts back? Nope...

I actually got the idea from my tri-athlete coworker. He dropped 60 lbs in a year and is really supportive. Also tells me to get my lazy butt to the gym when I don't want to. He doesn't actually think I'm lazy, but he knows that will make me move.

My favorite lazy dinner is actually egg whites, spinach and laughing cow cheese (with lots of red pepper). Got the idea from him, and its filled with protein. So good.

I work in clinical trials for an NIH-sponsored grant right outside of DC. I have a few studies that are "mine" and I'm responsible for the electronic data system for those trials, as well as answering any questions from the doctors/nurses around the country who participate in the trials (data system related, or how to actually go about following the way the trials are written). I'm kind of sort of customer service for clinical trials. But I've also been here for 4.5 years (I'm the most senior in our group) so a lot of the times I get bombarded from people outside and inside and its like AAAAAAH DON'T ASK ME LOOK IT UP.

I haven't been weighing myself because I spend a lot of my nights sleeping at the boyfriends.... kind of nice to not be obsessed with my scale... eating is going strong...

but if someone does not get me a red velvet cupcake for my birthday I will have no friends left...seriously lol

if not I'm making/buying yummy ones for valentines day and the boyfriend can live with it because they are amazing

I cant seem to wake up in the morning these days which is messing up my afternoons because I have to go to the gym then... lame

I am debating on whether or not to buy an athletic one piece suit, swim cap, and goggles to use at the gym....I sam back in jr. high, but haven't done so at for fitness since then...do you think it's money well spent!? If I use it- of course it is..I guess that is the main question. No way for me to know the answer to that lol!

Linds - I got my bathing suit/goggles on sale. I don't use a cap, I just put leave-in conditioner in my hair and braid it, mostly b/c the caps freak me out. I spent probably $40 on the whole thing, and I use my stuff a few times a month, so I consider it worth it, especially if its right at your gym.

So my stomach got into a fight with a quesadilla last night. Not pretty, at all. And despite that, I was 167 after the gym. Considering that my gym pants were falling off me as I ran and my legs HURT - I'm just going to say that I'm retaining lots of water, and stop eating salty stuff for a few days...or until tomorrow when I'm going out to dinner...uh

Yeah. I'll be perfect starting Sunday...

I hit 176.4 today & I'm sooooo happy!!!!!!!!!!! I really wanna see 175 on Friday b/c A. it would be awesome & B. I would be at a 2lb loss per week for January. That was my goal from the beginning, so that would be fabulous! But yay for 176! The last time I saw that was as I was going up to the 200s, so it's nice to see it again.

Personals in a little bit... need... shower...and water.

Just tried my ZumbaFitness game for 20 minutes (on beginner - little bit of salsa, hip hop, calypso and belly dance) after doing 20 minutes of circuit training. AAHHHHHH!!!! But it was REALLY fun and I was able to keep up really well! If I get snowed in tonight (calling for 10 inches on top of the 2 we got this morning) then I'll do both of the beginner classes tomorrow (both 20 minutes). Even if you don't have the little belt it comes with it would be easy to keep up and get your heart pumping! I was out of breath by the middle of the second song!

We're supposed to get snow here tonight too. We're on the smaller range of snow (only supposed to get 6-10 inches), but that will be on top of the 3+ feet we already have on the ground. CRAZY!!!! I have no idea where we're going to be able to put it.

I had to come home right after work to babysit my nieces since my brother and sister-in-law were going to the Bruins game for my brother's birthday. So, I didn't get to the gym after school like normal, but I did read one of my latest magazines on the exercise bike for about 30 minutes. Not the best, but better than nothing!

I think I'm going to start 30DS and actually do it for 30 days....I've done it several times, but never for 30 days straight. I think it would be interesting to see what results I got if I did shred in the morning and cardio at the gym in the evening...I'll keep you posted. I'm trying to push myself to start tonight!

So Tom arrived today, and the scale is down 2.5 pounds from yesterday, thank goodness. I'd appreciate some more whoosh whoosh!!!!! All the way down to 159 would be nice. Ok scale fairy? You got that?? Lol

My only real news is that I get to start my new position at work next Tuesday. I don't know if any of you heard or remember but I was promoted in October/November and have been in limbo since while they found a replacement for me. They could not find a replacement, so they re-organized some current employees and VIOLA! New position here I come!! I'm so excited! I'm definitely ready for it!

We are on snow day #5 in two weeks and I am SO SICK OF THE SNOW!!! The snow banks are taller than me and the snow is taller than our fence posts in the front yard. At this rate, I'm going to be teaching until July! But the roads weren't all that bad this afternoon even though they cancelled school, so I headed to the gym and now I am going to head towards CVS to buy new batteries for my scale which decided to konk out on me yesterday!

I got home from work a little early so I did 30DS. I will do cardio a little later tonight....day one..complete! THe more I think about it, I think doing the 30ds/cardio combo will work for about 3 days a week...the other 1-2 days I go to the gym I'll do mainly cardio and abs. I'm going to try this for a month! PLEASE help me stay motivated! ;)

Haley - are you ok? I have to admit, if I had seen you fall, I would have died laughing. Falling down is probably the funniest thing in the world to me. Even if it's me falling. My husband makes me watch America's Funniest Home Videos when I feel sad because, without fail, I will laugh hysterically at people falling down.

Jazz - Date night with my huzzy tonight :) Then just church this weekend. And more cleaning :/
